I have two taxi needs from the airport. I'm looking for the easiest (not the cheapest transport), but yet not to get ripped off way to taxi from
Airport to Nana hotel
Airport to Pattaya

Any advice (inside or outside the airport, prearrange with hotel)?
Thanks

For Nana Hotel, EXIT the terminal and proceed to the taxi stand just outside. Then make sure the driver turns the meter on. It's pretty hard to go wrong with a metered taxi in BKK.
For Pattaya, take one of those metered taxis from the airport to the bus station.

My Pattaya hotel, the Penthouse, will bring me down for 1500 Bht in a taxi or 2200 Bht for a Mercedes. Does that sound bad?

From the airport to Ekkamai Bus Station on Sukumvit by metered taxi ... maybe 300Baht. Or, from any where on the Sky Train Route to Ekkamai ... 20 to 40 Baht.
From Ekkamai to Pattaya by bus 90Baht.

From Pattaya Bus Station to your hotel by Baht Bus ... 50 Baht.

440Baht or 2200Baht. Up to you!

If you want to take the Mercedes Limo GO FOR IT !!! This is your vacaton. Enjoy. Some of the pattaya limo outfits will even set you up with champagne and a date for some back seat action. It's 2 hours from the airport by limo and at least 3 by bus when you add in transfers and waits. Do what feels good. I'm a bus guy, but I shared a Limo with a fellow once an it was fun.

Thanks much for the info. Since there are two of us we'll go for the limo...only $20 more per person.

Long range 'official' taxi prices from Suvarnabhumi. I just thought I would pass along the official list for reference. Pattaya is officially 1300. If you need to flee the country by taxi during the next coup, Yala at the Malaysian border is 9000.Long range taxi rates 1Long range taxi rates 2
