My first night in town I got a driver from the Airpot to take me around to the found a 20 year old college student (part time worker) who spent a week showing me around the beautiful resorts in this area of the Philippines.

Karaoke bars have GRO's or Guest Relations Officers. Once inside, you can talk to the GRO of your choice, and pay the bar a "fine" for taking her out of the bar for the rest of the evening. The fines range from 150 to 500 pesos $3-10 U.S. The girl will usually ask you for 500-2000 pesos $10-40 U.S., and stay the evening with you.

Clubs
THUNDERDOME--F Ramos Street.
MANNYS--on Osmena Blvd. a Karaoke place.
FIREHOUSE--a lane off of Osmena Blvd.
SILVER DOLLAR BAR--This bar is located on Osmena Blvd. near the Osmena Circle.
CAESAR'S PALACE --a massage parlour. in Arcade Subangadaku, Mandaue City (by taxi)

Mactan Island nearby Cebu, There are many "Karoke Bars" all over the island. I must have counted 18 or more. Inside is the 'standard line up' of ladies.

Pappilon Club (sp?) is a really nice club! Five dancers on the floor at one time, and most are very good looking. A long haired Chinese/Filipina gave me a so-so BJ in one of the private booths, for P700. That's a bit steep but her face was pretty and she had long straight hair to her ass.... my type. This club is on General Maxilom Ave aka Mango Ave., a few blocks east of the Fuente Osmena Circle, a landmark. There is another club across the street (Midnight something) and a sub-par bar behind Pappilon. Anyways, don't miss this club.

Just got back from Cebu and had a good time. In terms of prices, Cebu is double that of Angeles, and of course the selection is not as great as well. But, in Cebu there are "casas," where you can get take out. The scene is more along the lines of BKK MPs, but without the MP action. Good selection, for sure.
Oh yes, Makati also has a couple casas. I made it a point to search some out. Price is high, but then again, Manila is. I paid 4000p for a chica all-night. Pretty, stacked, and strong performer.

I'd definitely hit the same places again. After all, it's only $40-80 for all-night in these places, which is a bargain compared to TJ and US.

To find these Casas, all you have to do is ask the cab drivers, or just walk on the street outside your hotel, someone will approach you and can get you to these casas. All these Casa in Makati are located in residential area, and will not be easy to find them yourself if you are familiar with the city. For safty, it is better to ask the taxi drivers, because you don't know these guys who approach you and what they have in mind. I went to PI often for business, and am quite knowledge about the places. If you need more info, let me know.

On my last visit to the Philippines I spent my last night in Cebu. After more than a week in Angeles I was ready for something a bit different. Had about five thousand pesos left and went to a night club. Met a singer and proceeded to chat her up. We went out and she had expensive (wasteful) tastes. Half the night later I said good bye to her in a taxi (she would not come up to the Hotel room) and stood in the street out side my Hotel in downtown Cebu. It was getting late. Maybe around 2 or 2.30 am. Soon the local Filipino bars would close. I had about 1500 pesos left which was about what I needed to secure company for the evening depending on the cost of drinks. Given the bullshit that can go down is such establishments there was a chance I would go without if I was not careful. The other option was to talk to one of the many pimps who operate downtown. My dilemma was answered a immediately when I was asked if I wanted a lady. Pretending only slight interest I asked what was available. I agreed to look at three college girls that would be delivered to the open cafe in the street where I was to wait and have a drink. Before I had finished my drink the taxi arrived and I looked into the back of the taxi. Three very beautiful girls looked back at me. On my first scan I made no rejections which is unusual. I then spoke briefly to each of them and again all passed that test. I was about to do another more in depth scan when the one of the girls caught my eye. It was her smile. We agreed on a price and she came up to the room. Did not waste too much time and we were into it. Soon she started to moan and while I think it is great for the girls to seem like they are enjoying it I took a friendly dig at her. She responded saying she was enjoying it. She said it was her first one for the New Year as she had just finished her menstruation and that I was very handsome (yeah) I was enjoying so anything else did not really matter. It soon became evident from the involuntary pelvic action that she was indeed enjoying it and she climaxed a number of times. Lots of men believe these girls climax for them every time but in reality only one in twenty I encounter really get into it. She was amazing but her performance in the morning was even more amazing. I was aroused again we started to get into it. Now after Angeles I (taking Viagra every day for enhancement purposes) I was really fucked and after ten minutes I collapsed on the bed unable to finish. It really did not bother me as I had spent a wonderful moth in the Philippines. She was not so happy. She saw it as a personal challenge and got to work on me. She got me again and then we were at it again. This time she took me to completion and I will never forget the look of satisfaction and accomplishment on her face. We showered and it was time for her to leave (she did not want breakfast). She then asked me for some money for a Taxi which is the norm with girls in downtown Cebu. I asked her how much and she said 40 pesos. I gave her 100 which is all I could spare and she was very happy. As the whole service was paid for in advance she really had no incentive other than her own pleasure to provide such an excellent performance. The one thing I will always remember about her is the smile that never left her face. What a great way to finish a holiday in the Philippines.

I enjoyed your post. I couldn't think of a nicer place to spend a last night in PI than Cebu City. I am not sure I agree with you when you say only one out of twenty get into it. I find that about one in twenty don't get into it. What works for me is treating them with care and respect, and they will respond well in bed. Do not treat them as whores because that is not how they perceive themselves. That is why so many mongers find the GFE in the Philippines. I feel that there is a genuine affection to be found with these girls, but you must tread lightly. They want to be treated as a girl friend and not a piece of ass. It is no wonder these girls are refered to as the "Pearls of Asia". I just got back from the PI 4 weeks ago and I am ready to return. It really is addictive!

I have visited Cebu twice. One of the best places is the Jaguar Club, lovely ladies 6-9's. The karaoke bars are also fun. Easy to find a taxi in town, and very reasonable, but only one company is radio dispatched. So if you find an open minded driver (fairly easy to do), get his home or cell #.

By Brazil_Specialist on Sunday, July 04, 2004 - 04:03 am:  Edit

Cebu basically has 2 options.

a ) downtown Cebu with the cheap street girls. P 500 should do for short time. Also casas and overpriced bars.

b ) Mactan Island, much nicer, with nice beaches. Lots of casas, some bars.

If you don't know what you are doing you get charged double, triple the price for girl. I cannot even tell how low I paid at casas. Japanese paid 5 times what I paid, americans usually double.

In Mactan Island, I strongly suggest a friend of mine, Waggie, as aguide 0916 726 4780 is his phone number. His daughter Julie (as a contact to find him only) has the phone 0927 271 4537. He is quite honest, this is why he is still poor. Be generous to him please. He can help you get better prices everywhere, and can help you find the best girls. He can be your personal helper to make your life easy.

He has all the contacts on Mactan Island, but will not be of much use in the downtown cheap areas.

Waggie works at Hadsan Resort, a somewhat run down beach resort, but at unbeatable prices starting at maybe P 1200.

See www.cebu-hotels.com for Hadsan resort. Downtown, Century Hotel, also on the same website, is a nice cheap hotel close to the action, about P 600.

All hotels give maior discounts for monthly and long term stays.

you can email me for more information, in that case I can call you to discuss things over the phone. If you meet Waggie, drop me a mail too ......

Cebu is a great hub for Island hopping. You can get to most destinations in Phils from there. I only spent a couple nights there as it was not my destination.

What is the deal on arriving there from Manila. Is the airport far from the city? How much would you expect a taxi to charge from the airport to the city center? Sounds like an interesting place that needs a good scouting report...

By Bark on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 - 07:23 pm:  Edit

Gregorio, there are multiple flights every day Manila to Cebu. You can check the websites for Philippine Air and Cebu Pacific for fares and times. Getting out of the airport to your hotel is kind of like getting out of NAIA -- after picking up your luggage and exiting outside, walk a few steps to your right and there will be a booth that will set you up with an airport taxi at an exorbitant price. I believe when I was there in September 2005 the fare was 350 pesos. I have heard of people doing the standard dodge of going to the departure area and finding a metered taxi letting someone off. However, I have also read where this is becoming such a common practice that you may end up waiting a looooong time while those who were there before you get their rides. If you find a metered taxi, it will be around 125 to 150 pesos to the city. For some info on the club scene, copy and paste this URL into your browser:

http://nightlife.cebuliving.com/

And for God's sake if you go there and like the place, keep quiet about it! lol!

By Gregorio on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 - 11:28 pm:  Edit

B, just opened up that link. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I've been looking all over for "good" Cebu info, this is by far the best I've seen.

From what I've read, Lapu-Lapu is more of a beach area and a lot closer to the airport, which by the way, has flights to AC on SeaAir most every day. Sounds like a trifecta...

By Adanac on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 - 11:08 am:  Edit

Lapu-Lapu is close to the airport on Mactan Island. It is close to Cebu City as well just over the bridge. On the other side of mactan Island 15 minutes to the airport are most of the beach hotels. Lapu-Lapu has many small strip clubs where you bar fine girls. But you can go to Cebu City which has larger better quality areas for this. There are also good Korean Discos Sunflower City has many tourists and free lancers as well as regular girls. Also Nassau Disco has many locals and not so many tourists. Both are easy to find companions. I preffered the discos to the strip clubs when I was there in January.

Anybody tried the Mango Park Hotel? Is it guest friendly?

By Monkeybrain on Friday, October 13, 2006 - 02:23 pm:  Edit

I'm planning a long term visit (maybe 2 months) to the philippines beginning around January. I'll probably visit AC, but I'd like to stay at a relatively nice beach area for a large portion of the trip. Would Cebu be a good choice? Any advice on long stay hotels or apartment rentals? I need a fast internet connection.

Any advice or comments would be very welcome.

By Bigballs on Friday, October 13, 2006 - 11:15 pm:  Edit

Cebu has some very nice resorts, and they are expensive. I didn't like the beaches there at all, so much seaweed. For that long of a stay, try Puerto Galera, has some very nice beaches and some gogo bars too. You can get monthly rentals there and the internet is ok, but don't expect the speeds you may currently used too. I haven't ever found what I consider a fast reliable internet anywhere. You going to have some time to explore so try out a few different locations. I should get out more, but living in AC brings out the sloth in me.

By Monkeybrain on Sunday, October 22, 2006 - 10:34 am:  Edit

Thanks Bigballs. Yeah, it'll probably be hard to stay away from AC for too long. I'll definitley check out Puerta Galera. It sounds like travel within the country is cheap enough to do some exploring.

go2phil.com just put up a huge glitzy section on Cebu.

/not shilling, just noting

By Phoenixguy on Sunday, December 10, 2006 - 09:08 pm:  Edit

I just visited Cebu. Glitzy is not the word I would use to describe it. We rode through slums (getting to our hotel) there that make most parts of Manila look downright ritzy by comparison. As best I could determine, our resort was pretty much surrounded by them. The shotgun-carrying security guard strolling the grounds at our resort also led me to believe my assessment may have been accurate. The SM mall in town was nice enough though.

Maybe I'll try Boracay next time I have the urge to see a Philippine beach.

By Keeper on Sunday, December 17, 2006 - 03:16 am:  Edit

Was not saying Cebu looked, glitzy, just the Cebu section at the above mentioned website is. Dude named Bee put in alot of work on it. Almost nothing on Cebu here.

I am just looking around at options to break up my cherry trip without much extra expense. Great direct flight times to Cebu from Clark on Cebu Pacific for 1,600 php including tax each way.

Do not pick up street girls on Colon. Many are scammers. Especially avoid the really short one (about 4'6"). I'm not the only one that had problems with her.

By Masterbates on Saturday, July 07, 2007 - 06:34 pm:  Edit

Are there relatively cheap, yet safe hotels in Cebu City? I'm certainly not looking for anything extravagant, I'm looking for something within the $20-$30-$35 range. Anything affordable would be nice. All I need is a clean room, with a clean bed, nothing like a five-star hotel or anything.

The reason I ask is because if only I had known prior to what I had discovered while in Indonesia in March this year. I stayed at hotels which were in the $60-$85 per night range, which was ok, but much to my dismay, I walked down the street of where my hotel was located and saw smaller hotels, which were only $20-$30 per night. They looked cleaner also, as I was allowed to inspect the rooms.

I'm sure it must be the same way in Cebu City. Bigger hotels with bigger prices are always advertised everywhere, where the smaller hotels don't get that much advertising.

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Master Bates.

By Masterbates on Sunday, July 08, 2007 - 08:20 pm:  Edit

As I stated on the main Mexico chat thread, I'm working on it. But because of added work hours, plus other personal family problems, this has prevented me from finishing it as quickly as I had hoped. I'm a perfectionist, therefore, I want to submit something which I hope will be better than my previous works.

And as I also stated on the main Mexico chat thread, Hombre himself quickly intercepted the continuous skeptic responses by confirming (through IP address verication) just exactly where my postings in Indonesia were coming from. In doing so, I didn't feel the need to defend my statements any further, neither do I feel the need to defend them now.

To further back up my evidence at the time, and unbeknownst to you, I kept the best hand for last by playing my cards right. I even contacted Hombre during my stay in Jakarta, giving him the hotel names in which I was staying, plus my real name, along with contact phone numbers to get in touch with me, should he have any questions or any other investigative concerns.

Despite the submitted evidence (by Hombre) it still didn't stop the skeptics at the time in wanting to have their fun in attempting to yank my chain, so to speak, in calling on my credibilty. And if I remember correctly, it still didn't stop you.

Others who read this thread with an IQ level above room temperature will no doubt catch on quickly as to your futile attempt in wanting to convert this discussion thread into flame war.

However, despite what I have submitted in the past, including whatever I choose to submit in the future, will still not convince you, neither stop you in wanting to pursue your continued happiness in the relentless pursuit of mindless petty juvenile flame wars. This time, I won't take the bait.

I think I've made my point.

Smitopher: Research on the Internet, plus a girl whom I've been corresponding with on the Internet have all peaked my curiosity. I have a friend who continuously goes to Iligan City in the Philippines, who tells me he too has heard Cebu City is just as adventurous, yet it can also be somewhat of a tourist trap.

I am still contemplating. I am asking questions about Cebu City because everything I wanted to find out about Jakarta before I took the trip was all valuable information from mongers who have been there and guided me in the right direction when it came to the best monegring locations.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards,

Master Bates.

Did you ever make it to Cebu? If so, how about a trip report. Thanks!

By Khun_mor on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 - 08:36 pm:  Edit

Ahhh !! Iligan City . I read somewhere that it is a city of young virgins just lining up to be deflowered by any poriner they can get their hands on .

I sure wish I could remember where I read that, and I wonder whatever happened to the author ?

By Forte on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 - 04:59 am:  Edit

Hughgrekshin wrote that trip report about Iligan on Dec. 14, 2006. Some of the members on this forum gave him a hard time and he stopped posting shortly after the report.

He let the poor lower class Philippine women, who had little experience with foreigners, believe that he was their lottery ticket to the USA and a better life. They would then give him free or inexpensive sex in the belief that they would improve their odds. If he pulled this off, he must be pretty good at talking to the ladies and selling this idea to them.

I found the part about seducing virgins disturbing, if it is true, because the virgins lose their innocence and the potential to marry the local men who are looking for virgins while gaining very little from this experience. Unfortunately, a lot of guys are seeking virgins because this is a strategy to avoid getting diseases.

For travelers that don't want to use condoms and are not looking for a long term commitment, I think it is a better strategy to find a working girl to be with for a week or two and pay for STD tests.

In my opinion, there can be a lot of trickery involved in dating in the Philippines. Ladies often have several suitors and let each guy think that he is the only one. As for the non-virgin local ladies that this guy picks up, his game may not be much worse than the games some women play with men in PI.

For the average traveler who is looking for some sex, it probably isn't worth the effort or time involved in learning to pick up the non-working local ladies. The trip to the PI is still very expensive with flight and hotel costs, and the potential savings are less than $50 a day on the days that the technique is successful.

The holiday in the middle of January is called Sinulog. They have a big parade with floats and girls dancing supposedly traditional dances.
It,s a big affair. Last time I was there for Sinulog was in 1994.
