Just back from 2 days in Pattaya. No "blow by blow" trip report, but a few antecdotes.
Pattaya pool rules suck!
I took a gal to play pool and it turned out it was her first time and she didn’t like it so much. She spotted one of her friends with her old Italian boyfriend and she made me play against him instead. I tried to get him to play “real” pool rules, but he freaked out and insisted on playing “Thailand rules”, despite the fact that I was paying for the table by the hour and he was playing for free. Well, I figured that I could adapt, but I was wrong. This guy played a strange game. He would deliberately block all the pockets with his balls and leave them there and would then knock the cue ball an inch or 2 to snooker me and take advantage of his 2 shots when I scratched. The capper was that he wouldn’t call a pocket for the 8 ball and just bang it off the rails real hard and hope it went in a pocket (it did twice). I guess he was playing “smart” pool, but it pissed me off to no end! Next time, real rules or I am not playing! Wa wa wa!
“Superstar” sighting at Tony’s disco
Took the same gal to Tony’s and she got real excited and pointed out this black guy with long blond/black dreadlocks. “Him big superstar, sing-a-song!!!!” He was sitting nearby us and had one of the most gorgeous Chinese/Thai girls that I have ever seen by his side. Tony introduced him to the crowd, and the girls screamed with delight as he took the stage and did a few songs with the band. He had a damn good voice and stage presence and I can see why he’s popular with the ladies. He tried to pull me up on stage I assume to show that white boys can’t dance, but I declined despite prodding from the audience. My gal tells me this guy’s name is Joey and he has a Thai mother/American black father “same-same Tiger Woods". After doing a few songs, he signed autographs and shook hands for scores of thrilled Thai girls.
Stunner=Pain in the ass
Hooked up with Miss Dance Contest my first night. She didn’t seem real happy much of the evening, but we had a good time in the room. But, I wanted round 2 and she wanted to sleep. It was only 2:30 and the last time I was with her, she kept me out until after 4am and sleeping was not a priority. It seems the phrase “up to you” is not in her vocabulary. I finally sent her away and slept alone. I don’t think she has ever been booted from a room before and was none too pleased. I guess I spoiled my chances to hook up with #72, the DC runner-up and her best friend, but I doubt that she would be any good either. In fact, I saw a guy I know who said she quoted him 2000B ST/3000B LT and stipulated that even for LT she would only do it once. Of course, this guy is a total dipshit, and therefore got quoted the “dipshit” rate. Yes, he paid it too and said she wasn't real good! Saw both girls at Tony’s the following night and at first #72 excitedly waved at me. Then Miss DC fills her on and they spent the rest of the night staring daggers at me.
Attitude is everything
I finally hooked up with the girl from Paradise on Soi 8. Every time I have been in town, she has been booked for multiple days. I now know why! What a contrast in attitude between her and the DC stuck-up bitch. Total sweetheart and I had a much, much better time with her than I did with Miss DC. Guess which one I will be seeing again?

The thing that drives me crazy about Pattaya is many of the girls get barfined aerly in the day. They don't get picked up until 11 or 12 at night. I like to window shop at night. With two different girls I was told that they were already barfined. This was after I had already spent 200 plus baht on drinks.
Lesson learned go out about 3-4 in the afternoon and barfine 1-2 great lookers. Tell them that you will meet them at 11 that night. Now you have options. It is a stupid game , but that is how it is being played. Just make sure that you don't run into the one that you didn't pick up.

If you do run into her just pay her bar fine and tell her she has a free night.

Welp, I left Pattaya three hours ago...and I feel homesick for that place (even though I'm an American)! Had such a great time during the last 10 days. Had both good and bad sex, good and bad times with women, good and bad times with the food, good and bad times with the hotel....everything felt just like I belong in Pattaya.
Met several memorable a-go-go girls, who gave me the best times of my life (both sexually, as well as just being together on dates). Lin and Fon from Classroom, Noy from Polo (drama queen, but still my favorite), and #53 from Superbaby (forgot her name! But she was the best in bed...even better than the threesomes that I've had).
Even got tattooed in Pattaya. A gorgeous grayshaded quarter sleeve of a naked woman encircled by a koi fish, with windbars and turbulant water in the background. Yes, the naked woman is symbolic of my stay in Thailand. Paid 6000 baht (approx. $150 USD). The tattoo was done by "Bali" from Tattoos by Tiger (www.tigertattoothailand.com). Great guy.
I am now at the Dynasty Inn next to Nana Entertainment Plaza in BKK. I'm hoping that things here will get my mind off of Pattaya for the next two days while I wait for my flight back to America. But, to be honest, I'm not very impressed at all by NEP. It's small....REAL small...compared to Pattaya. It's like, a hole in the wall of the city of Bangkok, a portion of Bangkok that just feels like it doesn't belong (unlike Pattaya, where EVERYTHING seems to revolve around the sex industry).
Welp, it's 4:30 in the afternoon. Better go get ready to see what the night can offer to this first-time visitor to Bangkok...

Anybody wanna buy my house and two tattoo shops in Hawaii, so that I may retire in Pattaya?
