In the last two years i have spent 5-6 weeks in Nepal with short 2-3 day stopovers in Bangkok.

In Kathmandu there is a very lively if hidden sex scene. There are two comfortable ways of getting laid. First try the regular massage parlours in Thamel. Most will offer special services which vary in price and pleasure. Ít starts from 1000 rupees (75Rupees ~ 1 US$) for short time ( no oral) up to 4000 rupees for 2 hours with oral and anal!!! It always depends on the girl. Or you just get a 2 hour relaxing massage with hand job for about 1500-2000rupies. For more bar like action try the Dynasty Club in Kathmandu. It´s a disco with lots of freelance girls. here you can find some real beauties some looking indian some chinese and everything in between. the y will come to your hotel forthe night for about 2500 rupees. Ther performance varies with some of them really wild and horny (bbbj, anal, rimming). My experience is that the Indianlooking girls are more fun and they are really great looking.

No problems in most hotels, in Kathmandu Guest House just book an double room (6-20 US$) and just register the girl. No hassel at all, if you don`t mind the smiles.

I`ve been to Kathmandu in September 2002 coming back from a trekking tour in the Himalayas and decided to do some research on the ladies.

First some basics:

Good place to stay in Thamel: Kathmandu Guest House (2,50$ -25$ per night. If you bring a guest just register her and pay double room charge)

You can get very good food from pizza to steaks or any asian variety in Kathmandu for a very low price. Expensive dinner will be around 5$ but you can also eat good for as low as 0,50$

Nepalis in general are very friendly and you should never have a problem there as long as you stay friendly to. Crime against tourists does nearly not exist. Police never bothers with tourists but is helpful when you need them. If you have a problem allways go to the tourist police at Durbar Square.y

Now about the girls:

Your best and easiest choice is allways a massage parlour in Thamel. Prices of 2000 RP are only the first asked price. Allways bargain and you should not pay more than 1200 RP for a lay. Plus whatever you pay for the massage which should be between 1500 and 2000Rp for two hours of good massage.

This will be true for nearly all massage parlours. Some don`t offer full-service but just ask the girl for "special-service". The girls are mostly 18-20 with some real beauties. Most spek a little english but don`t plan on a nice conversation. I never tried to take them to my hotel, but most hotels shouldn`t be a problem, a little gift for the manager allways works whatever you want.

Another place to pick up girls is the dynasty club. There are many professional and semi-professional girls who will go to a hotel with you. They offer to go to their place, but you donīt want to stay in a nepali appartment if itīs not in a better area of KTM. But if the girls would live their they wouldnīt be working.
Also the small retaurants and bars around the dynasty club are a good place to find girls.

Besides that prostitution is more undercover than in any other asian country i`ve been to. But with a little bit of trying you find what you want. If you like a girl and become a regular she will go down with prices.

Best thing to do if you found a nice girl is ask here to join you on a 2 or 3 day trip to Nargakot about 1 hour outside of Kathmandu. A taxi should cost about 700RP. Stay in the hotel "Naked chef" good rooms and excellent food. Not expensive. The girl Should get about 50-100$ (3500-7000RP), depending on her "performance".

Has anyone anyhting more recent than 2003 to report on Kahtmandu. Going there in December and wondered if the scene had changed, or do I just wait for BKK later?

namaste. like many south central asian cities kathmandu is dirty, dusty, polluted, crowded, noisy, poor...

although canīt say much about p4p in nepal itīs a great place to replenish your condoms supply. found box of 5 condoms for us$0.07 at convenience stores in pokhara, a small lakeside town near the himalayas, more pleasant & scenic than kathmandu. too embarrassed to say how many stores i cleaned up but from all that shopping was too tired to climb everest ;)

btw nepal official time is 30 minutes ahead of india.
