(Prices converted to dollars)Deluxe room cost me about $25 a night but you can buy four nights and get one free. It also includes breakfast and a free Thai Massage. They have an in house Massage place with about 15 girls. They will come to your room for a foot massage for about $6 and Thai massage for about $8. The service is superb. The deluxe room has a great view of the ocean and the bed frame is made entirely of teak. Most of the items in the bar cost about 50cents to a dollar. Average room service meal is about $2. I usually would order the tropical fruit tray so you can have your date feed you while you play with her pussy. Room also comes with bottled water and two robes (his/her). Television has satellite which includes MTV, BBC and local Pattaya station in English. All lights and air conditioner are remote control from your bed. Located on Soi 8 in the middle of many beer bars.

FYI Web Link
http://www.sunbeamhotel.com/index.htm
Maybe add this to the links page for Pattaya?
One question that I have is how 'guest friendly' is
the Sunbeam?
Anyone else have experience with this place? This is the first I've heard of it. Though, I'll be checking it out on my next trip.

Is that one per stay; one per night or one at a time? lol

I checked out the site and it does not mention a free night. They give a free ticket to a show if you stay for 3 nights. Did you make prior reservations or just show up and bargain.

I'll be staying there this week-end. I will report when I get home. So far my e-mail discussions with the hotel "Arunee" indicate that guests are not a problem. Three nights in a row get you the fourth nite in that row free (except for taxes) I'm only staying two nites and I hope to strike a bargin of some kind ... (-:

OK I'm back, sure wish I would have stayed longer. Spent two nights at the Sunbeam, was not able to strike up any kind of a deal with them. I am only going to rate this Hotel three stars *** it was "nice" but, that's about it.
No problem with guests, I specificaly asked the desk girl while checking in. She replied that if I knew who my "guest" was going to be I could list the name now. (kind of saw through that one, didn't she)
Security good. Guests 90% asian while I was there. Food in the Hotel restaurant bland ... breakfast buffet comes with the room and is not bad, quite convieniant. The traditional massage place in the parking lot on Soi 8 is to be recommended (-; After my second foot massage in as many days I was asked if I would care for any additional massage, that they also did oral. (But, who the hell on soi 8 dosen't)
Do not think that I would repeat. Next time in Pattaya (and there WILL be a next time) I think that I will try one of the Flipper Group. I had done some web shopping on these two hotels on Soi 8 & 7 prior to booking with the Sunbeam due to many positive comments on other boards and stopped to check out the lobby layout of these two this visit. They appear to be just as nicely appointed and secure, but are cheaper and closer to the beach. www.flippergroup.com

Thanks. I am leaning towards the Flipper Hotel. My only problem is that I will probably have to hope there is a room available via walk-in as Im not sure of my arrival date in Pattaya.

I'll stay this hotel this last May. They do allow guest. The place has aged a lil bit. I paid 1,5oo bath for their top room. Ask for a room with a ocean view.
