Travel agents will book you a very cool trip for about $25. This includes transportation, 1 hour ride on elephant through jungle and some rivers. Afterwards you will hang out with some wild gibbons and drink beer on a river barge. Then you go on an ox cart for about 20 minutes into the dining area for dinner. Local Thai music is played and the food is quite good. I let one of the gibbon monkeys help me finish my food. I went by myself as many chicks would complain about the long journey, bugs, etc. They will sell you a framed picture for $5 or a 1 hour video of your adventure for $15.
