Baht buses are Nissan blue trucks with covered flatbeds. It costs about 25 cents and will take you up and down main streets. A private trip with your lady may cost about 50 cents t a buck. You have to flag them down and you see them coming down the main streets about every 5 seconds. Kind of strange to take your date to your hotel in the back of a truck but you have no choice there.

I started carrying small packages of junk food with me as many of the drivers have their whole family in the cab with them. Junk food was for the small children. I liked the smile it brought to the children's faces and made me feel noble as I headed out to the go-go's to bar fine their aunts .....

I cannot see these trucks as busses, sorry. They are normal, tiny Toyota pickups with cages on them to keep you from falling out of the truck bed.

Good advice from Mcdijj about candy. I brought a can of Almond Roca from home and it's flying out of my hands to kids and girls alike. Pronounce it Chock-Oh-Lot!

I always took the ladies in these things. Very easy. Myself, whenever I was with a lady I just handed her 20 baht for the two of us and she did the rest. She was able to negotiate deviations from the normal route directly to our destination for no extra cost and twice bargained the guy down to only 5 baht each for a short trip. Way easier letting the lady deal with everything.
