Like many other people who stay at this hotel I eat a majority of my meals here, even if I am not staying in the hotel I still eat here frequently. Large menu, some dishes are better than others but I have never heard of anyone ever getting sick frrom anything served. There is a Airconed restraunt in the front, or in the back there are tables around the pool and in "LA CANTINA" the back bar.

I have eaten many meals at La Cantina during this trip. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. The breakfasts are good and priced right. They have nightly specials in addition to the extensive menu. La Cantina is not air conditioned, but they do have plenty of ceiling fans that work well. I recommend this as a good place to eat and a good place to meet up with friends. Lots of expats hang around the bar area.

This restaurant now has a breakfast buffet for P165 from 8 till 11. Standard fare, I was not too impressed.

Stay away from the orange drink there, made me run to the CR every 10 minutes all night long.

You think it was the orange drink? It didn't have anything to do with all that tainted snatch you were eating?

I love their two-egg breakfast with Lechon and beef tapa! The spaghetti is pretty good as well. I can't stand the lapu-lapu. If your girl orders it make sure she brushes her teeth before she kisses you.

Re: Orange drink. IMHO it was neither the drink or the "tainted snatch" as E so eloquently put it. I blame it on the ice in the drink. Stay away from tap water and ice in the Philippines.

Two days before I had the same problem, drank iced tea at the bar. E, I made sure not to eat at any of your old establishments, that's the real reason I pointed out the Blue Nile girl to you, making sure you didn't recognize her.

I think your Blue Nile girl is safe from me. There are only 2 girls there I have ever considered a possibility from that bar and your girl looked like neither one!!
I realize it seems like I bang 'em all, but that's just an illusion...

Drink your ice tea's at Kokomo's and drink your orange drink, sprint, etc directly out of the bottle. Honest engine-you will not be chasing the CR around town. RW

They have buffets of different themes daily but I thought the quality of the food was pretty damn poor. Great atmosphere to drink and check out the honeys at the pool. Not recommended.

The breakfast food was quite good, 150 pesos for the breakfast buffet. Super friendly waitresses and cook. Gawd I miss this place!
