It looks like I'm going to be making a business trip to Manila. I mentioned this to my brother and he asked if this might be a great way to celebrate his son's upcoming wedding with a "bachelor party" in the PI for the two of us (both divorced), the groom (my nephew) and the best man (my son).
Sounds like it might be a great idea. We've got enough frequent flyer miles saved for them to get there and my fare is, of course, paid for.
From reading the various boards it sounds like Angeles is the best place to party. Any thoughts or recommendations on places to stay and best clubs, etc. to party in?
Also, he wants to treat his son to a legal age "cherry girl" (why, I don't know). What is the going rate for a night with one of these and will he be able to find one easily?

The best place to stay is the Orchid Inn. Great rooms and close to the action. In terms of the best places, it changes frequently. I have not been there for two years.

Orchid Inn is definitely the best place to stay. The only problem is you normally need to book in far in advance. The email address is: orchid@datelnet.net Address the email to Roselle. Tell her the dates and the number of rooms. Also mention that if there are no rooms available to put you on a waiting list. Many times someone will cancel at the last moment and you may get into a room.
As far as "Cherry girls"... Look out!! If you arrange for a "cherry girl" to lose her virginity the going rate is 50,000 pesos (that's $1000)... The only way to not pay that is for the girl to insist that she gave it to you for free... Good luck on this one - this is YMMV applies.

Forget the cherry girl nonsense. It's for kids in high school. Why would you want to pay to make some 85 pound, 18 year old girl totally uncomfortable by having her first sexual experience with some faceless, big drunk foreigner? Who would pay $10 let alone $1000 for bad sex with an amateur?
