You won't find many Mexican restaurants in Thailand, but there is one in Pattaya on Soi 7 on the north side between Beach Road and Second Road.
Chips and salsa served while waiting for food. Two kinds of salsa were good, but chips were a little stale, most likely out of a bag.
Ordered "Coca-Cola Pork Carnitas". Marinated pork bits atop black beans served with baby corn and green beans for veggies and jalapenos, red peppers, and chopped tomatoes and onions on side. Flour tortillas included to roll your own soft tacos. Tortillas were lightly and unevenly warm, obviously not fresh.
Not the best Mexican food, but good enough, maybe the best Mex you'll find in Thailand. Thai dishes also available if you decide to bring a Thai date.

I eat here all the time... Good hangover food. The owner there is a good guy. I recommend dropping in when you get tired of eating Thai. Also notice the pictures of Pacific beach on the wall... always cracks me up...

Progman and I ate here and it was good for Mexican food out of it's enviornment. I had the fish tacos w/ beans and rice which was tasty. The owner is an a West Coast American and he introduced himself to us. He seemed like a nice guy.

My girl was with Archie and I when we ate here. She can't eat Farang food so she ate from the Thai menu. She said it was very good.

Food here is still excellent and one of the few places in Asia that does a nice job on Tex-Mex cuisine. Portions are huge and attention to detail by the cooks no matter what you order. Great place to also have a drink and get out of the blistering heat on Soi 7.

I thought the food was so-so,being from california the bar is set high for Mex cuisine. I would eat there again don't get me wrong...
Mexican food in this place vs. America is alot like the difference between Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper: both taste good but taste nothing alike...

i ate here a couple times a week over the course of 90 days. the chicken is high quality and i really enjoyed the chicken burritos and enchiladas. beans weren't that special. took a few gals here and they were okay with the thai food offered.
place gets busy. inside was full almost every time i was there. even outside patio was fairly full up.

I took Nastyworld and LAguy there a few weeks back the food was still good but not as good as it was last trip, I have had worse Mexican food in the States.
I almost always stop in here at least once when I'm in Pattaya, as inexpensive Mexican food isn't easy to find in Bangkok. It's not great, but it's good enough that I keep coming back...
Manos.
Other restaurants in Pattaya serving Mexican food are:
Blue Parrot and
Shenanigans, 2nd floor, The Avenue mall.
Agree that the food is average but great for hangovers. No margaritas to try since it's election day and no booze to be had anywhere, not even at 7-11. I have never seen so many scowling faces as the one on the punters in Pattaya with no booze and all the bars closed!
One note, I did order fajitas and for some dumb reason ordered Thai food as well. No mention of spice level when I placed the order, but it was so fucking hot I couldn't eat it. Serves me right for ordering Thai at a Mexican place.
