I did indeed find prices to be abit better at MBK than else where. A lot cheaper than some "touristy" malls on Sukumvit.
All the malls are full of girls. I can fall in love ten times just riding the sky train to the mall.

Anyone knows where to find good steel-toe safety boots like Caterpillar and sketchers in Bkk?.

Thanks,
Ron.

If you need everyday stuff, take the skytrain to the On Nut station and you'll find a huge Lotus / Tesco superstore with grocery. The Lotus / Tesco is very much like a stateside Wal-Mart store in merchandise and in floor layout. In fact, they've copied Wal-Mart's "rollback" price campaign. I bought some real nice shirts for a "rollback" price of 80 baht each.
With the "rollback" price campaign, the Thai government is now investigating Lotus / Tesco's for illegally selling undercost.
Whenever I go to Thailand, I drop by the Lotus / Tesco store and look at their prices to use as a standard whenever I shop anywhere else.
