The only real go-go bar during the daytime. I was shocked at the high caliber of girls working during the day. No Mexican kangaroo pouches here, only thin beauties. Long stage in middle of bar with long bar to the back. These girls are cool and friendly. Good place for afternoon snacks.

One of the few bars that plays rock music. They play DVD's with an excellent sound system. You can request a song from their huge library of DVD's. The place is kind of dark so look at your girls closely. My selection didn't look wuite as good in teh daylight.

The manager here is an American named Steve from Long Beach, CA and is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He bought me drinks every day and introduced me to every girl in the bar. Very cute girls for the daytime. Barfined a girl two times here. The manager had a birthday party with a big barbecue and free drinks. It is a very festive place with great air conditioning.

This place now has 45-55 girls dancing during the daytime. 7 are stunners and at lest 15 are very pretty. They have a short time room in the back and you could probably negotiate a lower rate for a tip. One of the girls brought me in the back because she was amazed at how well I spoke Thai. A few minutes later, I was eating with a bunch of bar girls and swapping stories in Thai. My Thai is great for a tourist but is nowhere near the fluency of a local. Like any other country, the quality of your session increases when you speak the language.
I barfined a girl for 500 baht and paid her 1000 for short time. The girls that speak English will not let you speak too much Thai to them as they would rather practice their English. No hassle and great service at this place. The management is good to the girls and it shows in their attitude.

Thumbs up for TQ. Maybe the best gogo in Pattaya (in my opinion). Always have a good time there. The owners are also American and two of the nicest guys you will meet. Woody, who barely knows me from adam, bought me drinks both times I met him. Course, he knows I play in his golf tournament every year, and probably knows my face (I am a bad boy)

BTW, warning for anyone that tries to bring a lady in here before evening. You can't. Their reason is that maybe some of the guys have girlfriends/wives that they don't want in there. Good idea IMO.

How much is the bar fine here? Does the fine depend on time of day or is it the same at any time of day...

Since I am going to Pattaya next month, its good to go visit this place can you please tell us where is this place north or south Pattaya .

TQ is on Beach rd about where Soi 12 is.Look for the Dunkin Donuts.

Again, the quality here during they day is fairly impressive. Their are some dogs but overall the quality is pretty good and the music excellent. All of the girls will settle for 1000 short time.

1000B before midnight
600B midnight-1AM
500B after 1AM

Wow! Pattaya barfines more expensive than the standard 600 baht that Nana Plaza bars charge. This appears to be spreading around the bars in Pattaya, I heard it's the same @ Diamond a-go-go. Usually if the barfine is 1,000 baht it is a special day like Xmas, or New Year and it is implimented to ensure that the BG's all show up on the big nights. I cannot see the logic in doing this nightly, what are they trying to do? Perhaps Bosses want to turn these bars into museums, where you look but don't want to part with 1,000 baht. At times I really feel that go-go bar bosses all over LOS are out of touch with customer care and value for money.

I hate to say it, but I've started growing tired of LoS... Teh bars closing early and the barfine increases have all but ruined the gogo scene for me (I'm not a point and clicker), and that is where I like to hang. Future trips to SEA will include PI, Batam, PRC as my venues.

That makes absolutely no sense. I've spent a lot of time in TQ especially during the day shift and the girls rarely were barfined when the fine was only 500 baht. They'll be grandmas now before they barfine again. There's something terribly wrong with this picture. Typical Thailand business sense. If your business is down -- charge more and try to squeeze a few more baht out of your few remaining customers. Talk about doing things bass ackwards !

Ya-- Soi 6 and a few BJ bars have beckoned me back during the past year. However, I need them to cycle the talent as the gals have me on their radar and I'm finding it hard to break free and experiment with new flesh.

Earlier this month, I had to basically gun it on my scooter down soi 6 with my head down to get past some ladies who claimed ownership of me in order to get to the other end. It's all BS, but they are making butterfly'in damn challenging for me.


I really do like the gogo scene in AC (I don't mind hunting for a hottie) and Nifty/Rio beats any LoS BJ joint IMHO. If only the flips could manage to cook up half way decent food and put mufflers on those trikes...

ohh -- i didn't mean to hijack this thread. it got me thinking tho as I was in TQ several times a couple weeks ago and barfed when they mentioned the BF. The girls are seemingly turning up the BF pressure also-- methinks they are started to get squeezed.

The result is I BFed 0 times from here and this bar drops considerably in my rankings.

Incidentally, those barfine prices were from a notice posted on their wall. I can understand the "reducing as the night goes on" price structure - that actually makes sense. What deosn't make sense is their prime time barfine being 400-500BHT higher than most all other nearby bars.

And Dave - most of us customers assume that bar owners don't really give a rat's ass about customers or their satisfaction (and many places make this abundantly clear with their policies and practices). After all - there's never going to be a shortage of horny guys looking for sex. If you're an exception to that rule, more power to ya man, but how is the average customer gonna know?

And KM - I thought increasing prices when business was down was a "Mexican" mentality. Maybe it spread across the Pacific somehow?

Phoenixguy - I am a bar manager (not an owner), so I fall somewhere in between the owners and the customers. I don't like these price rises and as a manager I have fought to keep prices down. It is not clever at all in my opinion, just like 1,000 baht barfines it's just pure greed. I try to introduce "specials" like "Happy Hour" and I have a fight on my hands to keep them. You are right the attitude is very selfish in general.

Mind you still a million times better than womanising in New York or London.

Stickman is reporting that Diamond a-go-go have dropped their 1,000 baht barfine. No news on TQ.

Great news for CH guys in Pattaya!

TQ Bosses were telling Stickman that they have a different type of clientele to the other go-go bars. I think they have, it's obviously for guys who don't want to take BG's out! They say that their regular drinkers are who they cater for. So TQ are clearly stating that this is NOT a good bar for mongers. I used to live in Pattaya before I moved to BKK and TQ has always been sort of clique in my opinion. I have been a customer there since 1988 so I speak from many years experience. It was notorious for poor performers too and I have been a victim of that in the past. Currently they seem to be sticking to their old ways. They have a complicated BF system and it is still 1,000 baht at times. Much better options for mongers in the Walking Street and Soi Diamond go-go bars in my opinion.

A lot of heavy drinkers here watching soccer and rugby. Still very good music but the talent during the day is not what it was. Great place to get nice aircon and get pissed a bit before heading out to the bars at night. There is a new manager from Portland here too that is a nice guy and quite the drunk. Great service as usual. Run very much like Roadhouse in Angeles.

I was passing the Tahitian queen when shopping in Pattaya, they seem to have only older woman and i had a problem trying to find a younger person.

There are a lot of girls working there, but they are very friendly and its nice to have a gogo in the afternoon.

Damn guy - you're having a bad run . I've seen many black guys in TQ and none ever had a problem with the girls or the staff that I have been aware of.

Not meaning to flame or offend but have you considered that maybe it's your attitude that is getting you turned away ? Obviuosly I have no idea what is going on . Do you want to be specific about what the problems have been ? Up to you obviously.

In Thailand any overly agressive type behaviour is going to get you noticed and singled out . Being black (again an assumption) may just magnify that fact .

HA! When I was in Pattaya in May, I pulled one of the Mamasans who screwed me silly. Here's the setup: I was staggering up Beach Rd at about 5AM one morning. There was no traffic, just the occasional jogger.

Well a ripped, dark brown Thai lady with a long ponytail and massive quads ran past, and I thought "Damn, I'd like to hit that!" Fast forward to the next evening when a buddy of mine says lets visit TQ2, a bar of never heard of at that time. We enter the spot and start drinking and socializing with the very friendly girls. I didn't see any chick to light my fire, when all of a sudden, the ripped girl, very nicely dressed, comes up to me to introduce a girl to me. I was speechless. Turns out she is a fitness nut and a Triathalon trainer. She was pretty and had good English, and yes when we fucked it was an amazing physical experience.
Alas, she would not SHUT UP, but left quickly after we did our business so she could go home and work out. But here's the kicker: I'M BLACK!

I am of mixed racial descent (black and white) and have been turned away from a number of clubs in Pattaya, including TQ. Each time it happens, I just cross that club off of my list and never return.

It has been my experience that black guys do not have the same problem as me, because I do look Hispanic/Middle Eastern.

Although black guys have no problem getting into places, taking a girl can be a problem SOMETIMES. Now if you roll like Priew and have been into a place a couple of times, the girls take note and change their mind quickly.

During my last stay in Pattaya (2 month trip), I was even turned away from Peppermints! This has nothing to do with my attitude/demeanor/dress/age.

In contrast to Pattaya, I have NEVER had a problem in the Philippines. After staying there for 10 days my last trip all the door girls along Fields would call me in by name when I walked by!

With the weak dollar all of my future visits in Asia will be to Cambodia and the PI (maybe try Indo soon). Sadly, I have crossed Brazil off my list for now until the dollar crawls its way out of the toilet.

1.5 weeks till Cambodia ;P!

Bambu, if your think there is racism in Thailand then wait till you get to Indonesia. Believe me, they can tell if you are black or not. There are a couple of bars in Block M that cater to Nigerians and other Arabs though. In the Philippines, Filipino men essentially have similar features as many black men and black GI's have been going to the Phils for decades. That and the fact that the Filipinos are wannabe hip hop types makes the Phils a prime destination for black mongers, especially Americans.
