Stinger was the "new" bar a few years ago, having left it's old location on Fields, as I recall the old Singer had old wood floors like a western saloon. The new Stingers is a nice attempt to modernize but the layout is really lame, there are only two couches (booths) in front of the stage, the other half of the S-curve stage has no audience. Also, if you are single, they will not let you sit in the booths, so I give it a failing grade for design. Girls here act a bit bored, maybe because there is really no audience for them to dance for. The guys in the booths are already being entertained by their gals. This place used to have a semi-secret short-time room but I hear it got closed. It was sort of nice, subdued lighting, with mirrors along side the bed. It has a one pool table. Generally about 10 girls on stage.

I went in there a couple of times and the lineup was pretty good. For awhile the bar was having a problem attracting customers because they were charging 1100 pesos for a barfine when all the other clubs were charging 1000 pesos. About a month ago the mamasan left and took about 14 girls with her. The owner quickly replaced her and brought in new girls. He also reduced the barfine down to 1000 pesos. It's worth a look-see.

Stinger's wasn't that busy when I went in, but I kind of liked the layout. There's a lot of open space, mainly because there is a lot of room around the pool table. Also, the S-curve stage is kind of unique. So many of the bars are the same. I saw one girl in here worth coming back for, but I didn't get a chance to stop in again.

Open 6pm to 3am.

Why is this place still open I found asking myself.
First it has the highst Barfine in AC 1200p, when I went in on a Friday PM , it was dead,,perhaps deader than in any of the previous 3 visits or so to the barand would have left immediately if had not seen a girl I knew. So since I was the only customer there, and knew a friendly face figured to buy a drink and catch up on the latest.

While chatting with her, she had left Champagne to come there,which I thought was a step down when I asked who ran the place, a guy with an Aussie or English accent came over and asked who wanted to know, then asked did I know him, when told him he fit a few wanted posters I had seen he shook his head and left.

Later while in La Bamba where had about 5 girls with me, he was in there evidently with his manager, and came over saying here was a guy who knew how to enjoy himself,,, started to say it could have been in your bar but you seemed like such an asshole.... but said nothing since was to preoccupied with a few of my potential girls for the nite.

Ironically, when going to the Orchid that nite with my love for the evening,,we passed the place, and a customer and manager were arguing outside, the customer was complaining about lack of respect he got in the bar, and the yelling contest got pretty loud,fisticuffs may have flown but am not sure, so another happy customer at Stingers.

Stingers has always and will always have ugly girls. It's a haven for girls that just cant make it anywhere else. The only guys that go their are married expats(filipina wives) and newbies that dont know any better. I also tried to give this place a chance and I also got shit from the manager because two girls were flirting with me from the dance floor but I would not buy them drinks.

Nice layout and tons of severely obese expat drunks playing pool here. No talent to speak of.
