Is it possible/difficult to arrange a VISA and fly a BG to America for a visit. Any information, experiences would be appreciated.

A friend of mine was in a similar situation. He tried and tried, but he could never get a tourist VISA for his Thai BG. The U.S. Embassy in Bangkok really scrutinizes their background and nearly alway rejects VISA requests from Thai women who have worked in bars, go-go clubs, massage parlors, etc. The U.S. Embassy fears they have no incentive to return back to Thailand. There's also a concern about trafficking women for prostitution.

I've heard of some guys having luck getting their Thai BG's a fiancee or student VISA, but you still have to jump through a lot of hoops and I want to emphasize "lots of hoops."
