K11/Svay Pak Prices

I've seen many forums that include the testimonies of men who rave about the cheap short-time prices of girls at K11 and elsewhere in PNH which they believe is set at $5. However, the truth is $5 is actually a 100% increase over what the local residents pay. The real price for a short-time at K11 is only 10,000 Riel or approx. $2.50. This is the price I have been paying for years and I know Camb. men don't pay any more than that too.

If you guys really care about preserving a great playground like K11 then you should insist on paying no more than 10,000 Riel at any house you venture into out there. I know it may not seem like much of a difference to you but what would happen if Cambodia started to go the way of Thailand where the prices have increased dramatically in recent years while the quality of service has gone down? If the prices were to double again from $5 to $10 out at K11 for a short-time would you be concerned? And what if it doubled again from $10 to $20?

So I urge all of you to please keep those prices down. If you go to a house at K11 and they won't go down from $5 to the real price of 10,000 Riel for a short-time then walk to the next house and try again. I guarantee you will eventually get the lower price and it will stay that way whenever you return.

When you go out to K11 make sure you carry 10,000 Riel in exact change to give to the mama-san when you are finished. Always pay after you are finished when you indulge in boom-boom on the premises and pay the mama-san or person in charge directly instead of giving the money to the girl. This is done to avoid any understandings about an extra tip for the girl.

If you want to leave the girl a tip then give her no more than a dollar, or 3,500 Riel. It's best that the girls don't end up believing we are all rich and have an unlmited amount of money to spend. Sex doesn't have to be expensive.

Sounds like my one chance in life to play DrewWHO/Aardvark and blow away the curve of standard pricing! Yeah, that's right, I'll pay 'em 7 bucks and do 11 chicas a day on what I consider my faaaaaar substandard $100 a day budget! If I decide I can afford the stupid exit fees/visa ripoff, of course!

Please note that all the guys that post about these great prices are fellows have spent a great deal of time in Cambodia. They have put in a lot of time to learn the ropes and taken their lumps in doing so. In many cases they have a working knowledge of the language. Do not think that a gringo fresh off the boat is going to be able to follow in their foot steps and do what they do with out doing what they did, i.e. put in time and effort to learn your way around.

P.S. The conditions a K11 make the worst SG/Short time room you have ever been in look like a Luxury Suite.

I don't have time to go into this in detail now, but if you ask for a 'good' room from a mamasan who knows and likes you, you will be given the best they have. I've been in rooms in houses along the strip with full A/C, working shower, clean sheets, etc, even some peace and quiet! For a short term visitor, that might mean choosing one house and taking your girls only from there...after a couple days you'll get VIP treatment from the mamasan, unless she's a bitch. In which case you keep walking...all you need is a two star house with good looking girls and a decent mamasan.

The Intercontinental of K11 is the big house as you enter...that place has a much higher standard than the others (and double the girl price to maintain it).

There *are* places that are pits, but depending on the house, there are still very decent accomodations on the strip. The trick is to find out where they are, and fall in lust with a girl from one of the better houses! With the exception of the Big House, I've never been charged extra for the special rooms (when available).

I just talked about s/t at K11 in an earlier post this evening, and what I said is accurate. But I find I have much more fun bringing girls back to town. It's a hoot for them, you have all kinds of time to deepen your rapport with them, take a walk, teach them solitaire on your notebook (takes them about 2 minutes to learn), then....have a ball!

Downside: some girls will behave 'properly' in front of the mamasan, but when out of her reach will change into a different girl than the one you thought you were getting. So it's always a good idea to run a short-time test first, and only then (perhaps another day) bring 'em back to your place. Another reason to get in good with the mama-sans - they'll (1) probably exchange girls for you (at considerable trouble I admit, that's 22 km of extra travel but it saves the night), then (2) she'll kick the girl's butt so she doesn't act bad when *I* take her out.

And have something for them to do...I bring teen fashion magazines, little presents, computer games and...dildoes.

Warning: K11 has changed over the years to become a heavily daytime kind of place. Lots of guys want to be in the comfort of their hotel, or at least downtown, by sunset. That means a lot of the better girls are snagged early, sometimes by being taken out early, sometimes by pre-paying early in the day. But I often don't even leave for K11 until 8 PM, and there's still the odd diamond left.

No, Blazers, they didn't get to keep the dildoes. In the beginning they laughed, yes, they'd turn them on and set them on the floor and watch them bobble about like crazed electric mice or psycho lizards or something. Everywhere but where they were designed by various "crack R&D teams" to go.

Enter my ex, Loan, the party facilitator. No actual penetration until Loan had them chug a beer, then the inhibitions dropped as quickly as the beer disappeared. So many of you are under the mistaken impression that you have to have lived here in Cambodia for 10 years and can speak the local language(s) fluently before you can get the local price for short-time. This is not so. New guys are coming in all the time and they dont know any more than you and they are paying no more than $2.50 to $3.00 for a short-time at K11. I think it is all a matter of how they carry themselves.

Instead of meekly asking a mama-san or a girl how much the price is for a short-time in a brothel walk in confidently and hold up a 10,000 Riel note ($2.50) in front of their faces and tell them that is how much you will pay and no more. Be sure to let them understand by your gestures that you will be ready to walk out and go to the next house if they dont give you the right price.

House 08, House 10, and House 04 are easy brothels to start with. The hardest houses to get down from $5 to $2.50-3.00 are House 01, House 14, House 15, and House 20. But if you are persistent and return a few times and demand the local price you will eventually get the right fee.

House 15 has the nicest rooms with showers in the whole of K11 and House 14 right next door has about the worst I have ever seen. Bad management in House 14 plus a rip-off mentality there. Girls are not disciplined and are therefore lazy. Many of them are allowed to have local Viet Namese and Cambodia boyfriends whom they give money to and buy food and beer for early in the mornings before customers arrive. Mama-san knows about all this but doesnt care. She just looks the other way. Other mama-sans in other houses would never allow their girls to have local boyfriends who just sponge off them and wear them out by fucking them alot.

Good to see your thread on the web as always. I am back in Bangkok tonight to meet up with a friend who is flying in from the states. Tomorrow we will go to Pattaya for a few days and then on to Trat, etc. Thanks for posting the article "Cambodia the Hardway" It was kind of the insperation for this trip. I did like Cambodia a lot, the boat races are fun and even though K11 is no more there is plenty of action to be had around the main hotels. Next time I hope to make it to the coast.

I was always wondering about cambodia prices. If in Rio de Janeiro I can take you to places where you pay R$ 10 (about US$ 3), then Cambodia does not look so cheap any more. So I always figured that the locals must pay less.


The $ 3 in Rio is for only 10 minutes, though.

Cambodia is only cheap once you're there. You're going to drop almost $900 to get to Phnom Penh from a non-hub city on the west coast of the US, $200 of that being the 45-minute BKK -> PNH haul on Bangkok Air.

From time to time K11 has a strange in-between state in which it's neither open nor closed, or, said differently, open and closed at the same time. What a computer programmer might call a 'soft one'. That's the way things are now.

In this state, doors are drawn to within a few inches of closure, eager little eyes peering out through the crack for potential customers. You approach the door at the beck of light hissing, the door opens quickly to let you in, then immediately shuts behind you. Once inside, it's business as usual. The doors close fully only when the police or other trouble-making authorities make their appearance on the strip.

Many of the popular houses (with numbers in the teens) are in this closed/open state; others are padlocked shut, and a couple are even...open!

No-one seems to know what's going on, but this is the longest-lasting closed/open period in the history of the place formerly known as 'Heaven'. Things open up to something approaching normal at night, including actual line-ups in front of the houses, just like the good old days...now an increasingly distant memory.

I've spent six weeks in Brazil, on the coast from Recife to Belen, then Manaus...found the prices a bit heftier than I can handle...shortens the trip significantly. But as is so often the case, the best times I had were with girls charging the least. 'Happy friend' discount. Never paid less than US$20 overnight, and this very rarely; coincidentally, this is usually the starting point for negotiations in Cambodia.

Skipped Rio due to the prices I'd heard quoted...currently waiting to make good at the lottery, knowing Rio is probably the hottest spot in the country.

I see it's been nearly a year since anyone has posted on the Svay Pak thread. Anyone been out there lately and can give an average price update on ST and LT?

It's been covered in the most recent trip reports on Cambodia, so your best bet is to read those. Still $5 ST, last I heard or read.

I've been to PP 3 times over the past 6 months and every time K-11 was shut down. I had my guide drive by it once and we were driven off by the 'elders' with hand signals not to turn down the road.

Check the other boards too, no action that I've seen, or heard of.

My Khmer buddy Wee Ben and the other Cambodia dedicated sites indicate this place has been closed for some time now. Several of the girls are now working in Martinis and Sharkeys.

Whore tester, I went a few weeks before Thanksgiving, and 2 months before that... It was definitely closed? I pay a local guide who is recommended on some other boards and he told me it was shut down. I insisted on going to see for myself and we were shooed away quicklike. These were not mistaken hand signals.

I'm sorry WT, but from my experience and my Guide's this place is seriously closed down.

I am sorry to see it go. Some of the best value for the monger dollar was in there. Maybe they opened up just for me, for one more bang? I don't know. Hopefully, the women will find other places to sell their wares. I remember a few K11 19-yo cuties that I would scour PP to find again. Alas, the consensus is that K11 is no more.

That said, I must return to the PI for some more action at the end of March. Three months is (now) a stretch for me. I hate the guys who go mongering for weeks and months at a time. Don't they work? I am insanely jealous. Maybe I should get that web-based business off the ground...
