There is an internet cafe that is pretty cheap on South Pattaya Road, about a hundred feet north of Walking Street. It's on the east side of the street next to a barber shop. The place is new, clean and has two absolutely stunning sisters whom work there. They're very young but it's fun to flirt with them while their mom's in the back. Place serves beer and other drinks. Wish I could remember the name.

According to my Pattaya map it's simply called
"Internet Cafe"

When I was in Pattaya last summer, there was a decent 24x7 internet cafe on Second Road near Soi 13, just around the corner from Dynasty Inn and directly next door to the Lek Hotel.

Massage place is next door- next to photo shop. The internet cafe has fast connections and cheap rates. You can buy discounted prepaid minutes as well if you're gonna be in Pattaya a while.

What I was looking for last time was an Internet Cafe that allowed me to plug my laptop in.

Only a matter of changing the ethernet cable from their PC to your laptop. I'm sure they would do it for a price.

There's also an internet cafe right in front of Mike Shopping Mall on Beach Road - that's where I'm posting from now. Currently 1BHT/minute.

Now they have wireless in some of the cafes, so life is good.

The 'net cafe at the Eastiny Hotel closest to 2nd road was open 20 hours a day, charged a baht a minute, good air-con, fast connections, laptop port, friendly staff, can't beat it, IMO.

As of October 2007, Internet rates are extremely cheap now in Pattaya and there is at least one internet cafe on every block if not more than one. Rates are $1 baht per minute and all are high speed with web cams and cd burners as well as USB drives for your flash drive if you need to bring your files from home with you.

I recommend an internet cafe on Soi Bukhao. 30 baht per hour and download speed of nearly 200kBs and peaking up to 500kBs. Used its AVG program to scan my memory card and no virus found. Air conditioned and quiet. Not opened on Sundays.

To get there, walk from Second Road through to the rear exit of The Avenue mall. This mall is across from the Lek Hotel.

Then walk along the narrow two-lane road leading away from the mall. It ends over 100 yards away on Soi Bukhao with a 7-Eleven store on the right.

Turn right and go to the third store. An old sign overhanging says PK.

These places open and shut all the time but the only one I know that's consistent is the internet caf'e at the beginning of soi Lenkee.
