Once you arrive at Vong Duan, you will notice that the sand is white and the ocean clear blue. There are several different resorts with bungalows but Vong Duan resort has ones that are air-conditioned with showers and private porch for about 1,100 baht ($23). The bungalows surround a huge garden and some of them are steps from the beach. The rooms have nice beds but the shower can be a little cold. The bungalows have large balconies with chairs overlooking the garden.

Their is a restaurant attached to the place which serves a Seafood platter at night for 250 baht ($5). The platter is mammoth and can feed two. The tables are on the beach are are lit by candelight at night. There are several hawkers selling som tum and Chang beer very cheap. Take a dip in the ocean in between beer drinking and fondling. The water is about 77-80 degrees.
