Porker, this place is located right across the street from the EDSA entertainment complex and next to the Heritage hotel. It is right near the corner of Roxas Blvd and EDSA. I believe it is located south from the LA Cafe.

From my report on my trip last summer:
"I had not made a reservation at the Copacabana, nor was I even entirely sure what the rate was, but the place is SO huge that I’m sure they always have available rooms, and I didn’t get gouged on a walk up rate. I think I paid something like 1600 pesos for a ‘studio room’, and while the room definitely was showing some age, it was very large for the money and the location was AWESOME for the EDSA bound monger, and a shitload cheaper than the Heritage Hotel next door."
"Copacabana didn’t say anything to me as I paraded three girls through the lobby to the elevator, and I was glad that my room was so big when we got there. The TV got turned on while the girls took turns in the bathroom changing and I got hit up about a dozen times to give them mini bar items. I did spring for a coke to split between the three of them. Ain’t I nice?"
"Check out time was 1 PM, and it was close to 12:30 by the time we got to the pool. Plane ticket to AC in hand, I wasn’t about to pay 1600 pesos for another night at the Copa just to do a short time, and I wasn’t confident in the hotel being liberal about extending me a late checkout time after the pool attendant came up to me and said I had to pay an extra 100 pesos per guest over the one that I was allowed.
I read him the riot act, asking where the sign was informing of that policy and why the hotel had not informed me about that upon checking in or when I brought my guests through the lobby? He scurried away saying he’d check with the front desk, but I didn’t see him again before I herded everyone up and headed back to the room to change and check out. Of course there was no mention of any extra fees at the front desk when I checked out.
I put the girls to work carrying my luggage, and damned if they didn’t do it with a smile! The quickly formed plan was that I would accompany them back to LA Café because I was now REALLY hungry, before coming back to the Copa to fetch my bags on the way to the airport. I think the Copa charged me 50 pesos or something to keep the bags. Other than the incident with the pool guy trying to scam me, my experience at the Copacabana was very positive, and I was happy with my brief stay. The building is old and the place is a little run down, but the room was BIG, the location excellent, and it was a pretty good value at less than 30 bucks a night."

I stayed here 2 New Year's ago. Only room left, decent price, large living room and bedroom--too big for me.... Ants. Incredibly noisy from the explosions on the streets and car horns (remember, this is New Years). I also had incredilby bad mojo from the girls I brought back with me all day and night. At least it's close to the casino at the Heritage.
