Imperial was nice but a slightly long walk from the Oxford Suites in hot weather and I got there too early to see best selection. It's on Makati Ave north of Kalayaan. You would want to walk west 2-3 blocks from P. Burgos on Durban (Oxford Suites) or Kalayaan until you reached Makati Ave and turned right. It's on the right side between Gen. Luna and Guerrero. Coordinates C-4 on E-Z Map Makati, map #2 of Makati Entertainment District.

I believe Imperial and Don Pedro Palisades are the closest massage parlors from P. Burgos St.

The closest major landmark I found to Imperial was the Great Eastern Hotel. It's the building you can see behind the Imperial sign on the same side of the street.

Even though I had the address of 7846 Makati Avenue from this site, the place was still really hard to find originally. Well, I shouldn’t say really hard, it is just that street numbers aren’t really prevalent in Makati or the Philippines. Additionally, the traffic on Makati Avenue was insane around the time (6pm) I was trying to get there. Traffic is insanely bad between where P. Burgos Street branches off from Makati Ave and Kalayaan. Imperial is located between General Luna and Guerrero. As you can see from the above picture, the security guard was more than willing to pose as I took a picture of the entrance.

Upon entering you will walk up some stairs before you find the aquarium. Around 6pm there were about 10 ladies that were available, of which I would say one was probably doable. I was quoted a price of 1300 for 90 minutes and you could expect to pay room rate directly to the lady again if you wanted sex on top of the massage. So figure a grand total of 2600 (around $47 US).

I decided not to partake because of poor selection so I started walking back towards Kalayaan.

Imperial Health Club.

During my late December 2005 vacation in Manila, I had the opportunity to visit the Imperial Health Club.

From Burgos and Makati Avenue, walk pass Wild Wild West club and cross Kalayaan Avenue. Just before reaching the Great Eastern Hotel, the massage parlor is located on the right side of Makati Avenue. There was a security guard in front of the street entrance door.

Inside on the second floor there was a sign on the reception desk that said: 1,300 pesos for one hour and fifteen minutes with one girl, 1,800 pesos for one hour and fifteen minutes with two girls, and 2,000 pesos for two hours and thirty minutes with one girl. The ladies behind the desk said that it was opened seven days a week, with the hours of 1 pm to 12 midnight, Monday thru Saturday and 1 pm to 10 pm on Sunday. They also said that the 1:15 time period included a 30-minute massage.

On a late Friday afternoon, I counted 11 girls sitting in the fish bowl, who ranged from fair to attractive and most had large breasts or sat in a manner to accentuate their breasts. I asked the ladies behind the desk if there would be more girls later or more on Friday evenings or at other days or times. They said that there was no better day or time. I could not sense whether they were just giving me the expected negative response or telling me the truth.

The reception area looked better than expected, almost plush. I guess that you would pay the girl 1,500 to 2,000 pesos and maybe as low as 1,000 pesos for extra services. Since a board on the wall behind the reception desk indicated none of the girls were with a customer and were all available, I imagine a bold guy could ask the ladies to recommend a girl willing to offer a low price for extra services.
