This is where I stayed my one night in Makati. I saw some very nice talent in Makati, but decided to only stay one night to avoid the temptation of taking a Makati girl whose total price can run 3x as much or more.
The hotel is located on a corner across from Billiards and Dimples, on Burgos street in the middle of the action. The 24 hr restaurant Filling Station and 24 hr iCafe Internet 88 are just as close for convenience.
My room was very nice and the hotel is guest friendly.
I would probably prefer to stay at one of the hotels in Pasay City, but if I do decide to stay in Makati again, Oxford Suites would be a safe choice for me.

I stayed here in late Aug. 2003. I Highly recommended this place as it's on par with a 4 star Marriot, everything is very clean, modern with excellent service. The best part is that it is literally in the middle of all the action on Burgos Street -- across from Bandido and minutes walking from all the other notable go-gos and bars. They have an excellent business center with cpu, fax, scanner, etc. Look for their specials b/c I got 50% off their executive suite for $55.00 on the 23rd floor.

This fine hotel is located in P. Burgos Street. Within walking distance of all the nice clubs in the area. They won't give any hassle when you take one of the ladies to your room. If you want to bring more, that will stay all night, the will charge you an extra P600 per person. Not too bad for the double pleasure you will get.
The hotel offers a nice professional massage service for P500 and it's up to you (and the masseuse of course) to negotiate the extra service (P500 for a hand job or more for a few stunning hours with a nice filipina beauty).

This is my second time at this hotel and I have to say it's gone down hill. Very little hot water, cable is out and 1000 P for 24 hours of internet. I paid $50 USD per night. But as they say in business...location, location, location. You can walk 30 meters in any direction and run into more clubs and women then you could ever handle. The staff is friendly, rooms ok (something like an older Holiday Inn)

The Oxford is going down hill I was there in July 06 I had the same hot water issue. The cafe staff was not friendly they fuck up every order I place its the simples order 4 pancakes 2 hot links instead I got 3 pancakes no links if I wanted 4 pancakes I had to order another 3 pancakes for a total of 6 pancakes then the basters would'nt serve me unless i had a breakfast ticket. If I go back I will stay at a 5 star hotel I'll cash in my miles maybe the hilton casino its around the corner from LA cafe were you could get grub , and pussy 24hrs 7 days the selection changes by the hour

I stayed there in Jan 07 and found it to be quite nice. The water was luke warm at first but then I noticed they had the temp turned down on the control panel below the sink, so i turned it up and water was great(on warm setting) and too hot, on the hot setting.
I booked through asiarooms.com and got a better deal then I could get directly at the hotel.
My room was a juinor suite(3400 peso/night) and the room was great. If you look at above pic, of outside of hotel the junior suites are on the very corner of the building above the sign and give you a 180 degree view of burgous.
I have checked out the prices for my next trip and see they are now around 5000 peso. A little rich for my blood, so I think I will look around.
Internet is a rip-off in my mind 1000 peso for 1 hour use or 24 hr"stand-by" which ever comes first!!
Also found the laundry service very expensive. 2nd time i just walked out the door and to laundry store 100ft away beside matrix bar and got it done for about a 10th of the price!!

I stayed at the Oxford Suites which I do recommend. It’s right in the center of all the girlie bars on P Burgos St.(you can stumble from all the bars easily back to your room)and it is one of the nicest areas to stay at in Manila. Breakfast was included in the price and it was a hot breakfast and was good. Ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel not the rooms facing Burgos St. The rooms have electronic safes and the hotel is guest friendly. I spent my first night not getting much sleep due to the damn cab drivers who honk all day and night for no damn reason other then to honk. I was back in this hotel off and on for four more nights as I transitioned through Manila and my other rooms were quiet. You get free Wifi for one hour each day and you then have to buy time beyond that. Walking down Burgos Street at 4 pm I had girls offering me massages, manicures and blow jobs.
Taking a taxi from the Manila airport you have to pay the standard rate and I think it was something like P$500. Going back to the airport jump in a yellow cab and tell your driver to turn on the meter and it’s only about a P$170 ride.

They have metered taxi's from the airport that run you about 225P to burgess st. When you exit the airport turn left and go to the taxi stand.

Stayed here the beginning of april. I liked the room it was big and clean. My room was executive room according to their website. Only thing bad about the room was that the walls were peeling a little close to the floor. I do recommend this hotel to you guys. Buffet breakfast is included with the room which was ok. Hotel has many bars on each side of it. Also hella freelancers and girls offering massages once it gets dark.

Stayed there many times, always left happy. A bit pricey at $60.00 USD per night but the rooms are huge with wall to wall windows providing a great view of Manila and beyond. Add in you are right in the heart of the entertainment district with no need for taxi service. In room internet service was dial up, other than that no issues.
