i made my reservations myself (called 1-2 days before arriving in bangkok), got a rate of B1,380=. not bad, was expecting a higher rate. my room is the standard and let me tell you guys, its huge, has a bed room, a living room, full bath w/tub, ac all around, cable tv, fridge, security box at the front desk, no problem bringing the honey for the night, swimming pool on the terrace w/ sauna. i usually don't spend much money, stick to B700= a night rooms, but, was curious, not disappointed!!!!. even though is at the end of soi 8, they have a tuk tuk, will give you free rides back and forth to Sukhumvit Rd. what a heck!!!, sometimes you just have treat yourself, place like this in the States will go for $100+ easy./// .

Hey. I guess you got one of the superior rooms. I got a regular room (a ok, comfortable king size bed, stocked fridge, cable TV, AC) with a nice outdoor pool on the roof. It cost me 890b. Their internet cafe suckes, and yes you have to take a Tuk Tuk, but the Tuk Tuk guy is muey cool.

I don't recommend having clothing made there. (They have a tailor shop)

All in all, I give it a B.

I looked at a room here, but thought the new rooms at Dynasty were nicer and only 100 baht more last summer. Dynasty has now raised their rates to close to 1100, however, so the difference now doesn't seem so great. It's a hike back up Soi 8 to Sukhumvit, at least a 10 minute walk.

I liked this place. I stayed there four nights, total. Make sure you go to the website and book as you will save yourself about 400 THB a night. They have a good staff, a shitty breakfast that is included. I did not go to the pool. It is very girl friendly as I brought a few back and had no problem. The standard room is pretty big and the bed comfortable.
