After four years of living in Bangkok and entertaining MANY foreign visitors the most often requested repeat visit was to the "No Hands" restaurant near the famous Pat Pong entertainment district. This upscale, three-story Chinese/Thai restaurant makes a good first impression. Beautiful Thai hostesses greet you with their traditional "wai" and invite you in with their incredible smiles and hour-glass figures. The first decision of the exciting evening is to choose one's dinner companion among the hundred of delectably attired young ladies. The "shopping" goes like this: On the first floor there are modestly dressed women standing around in Thai traditional wear and all flashing their "choose-me" smiles! But before making your choice you really should venture on up to the second floor where there are 30 more attractive women but on this floor they're all wearing much sexier clothing! And then there's the third floor (!) with perhaps 20 more gorgeous women and here they are sitting behind the one-way mirror and in very sexy lingerie! By this time you've forgotten that No Hands is a restaurant and the first objective is to eat! Mama San reminds you that there's a decision to make and, eventually, you choose your dinner companion from among your favorites on all three floors. After the introductions are made you and your new friend are escorted to a private dining room that best suits the number in your party whether it's a cozy room for two or a larger room for 15-20. Following the Thai tradition you leave your shoes outside the private room and then settle in to a very comfortable setting as your Thai companion proceeds to make you comfortable. SHE takes the warm towel and washes your hands and face, SHE uses the chopsticks to feed you, SHE lifts your beer glass to your mouth, SHE makes sure that No Hands will be a unique and unforgettable experience! The food is only OK and it is a bit expensive ($20 per person average) but all you can think of is DESSERT! The ladies are all quite classy and many of them speak passable English. Of course you'll have much more fun if you try to practice your Thai. The "bar fine" for taking your new friend to the next door short-time hotel is 1000 baht ($25) and then you negotiate with her directly for "dessert". The short-time hotel will charge 400 baht ($10) for 90 minutes for the majority of their rooms. "No Hands" is always great fun and particularly so if you have a group of good friends who all want to enjoy a Thai meal with beautiful Thai ladies who treat their dates like KINGS! Enjoy!

God that brought back great memories.
I went there once with our Country Manager (he was a mongers monger par excellance). It was a great experience. We had a private room for 8 and there was definately some "hands on" going on under the table. Didn't matter that the food wasn't that great. Nobody cared!
The girls were all giggling and laughing continuously.
Most amazing memory was they never spilled even one grain of rice or food from the chopsticks. Even more astounding was they could pick up one grain of rice with them.
If you ever want a really good laugh, just watch ole shaky handed (Familial Tremor)Sandman try to manage a pair of chopsticks. It's a wonder I get anything to my mouth.
Thanks for the memory Thad.

Chopsticks? I was there last week and the girls were using knives, spoons, and forks like everywhere else in Thailand. And you should have seen how fast Epi's girl was shoving food into him. It was quite comical.

Well, I was there about 8 years ago and they only brought out chopsticks. I guess K/F/S were available but since I wasn't feeding myself, I didn't need to ask..(I did everywhere else though).
Forgotten the name of that huge restaurant (can seat 5,000 and is supposedly the worlds largest outdoor restaurant), has indoor seating but mostly open air overlooking a huge reflection pool with fountains and the waiters are on roller skates. Anyway, we were there one night and when they brought the soup, all I had was chopsticks. Now, I am bad enough with the damn things with regular food but soup? Was I pleased to see everyone else pick up their bowls and just drink the stuff. They used the CS's to shove the noodles from the soup into their mouths.
I gotta get back to LOS one of these days. Been way too long. Maybe my travel buddy would like a PI and LOS adventure?

I think the chopsticks were just so the girls could put on a show as to how good they were. Thai people use chopsticks only for gwiteo-- or noodles to you farang. The major eating utensil is clearly the spoon. Eat and cut with spoon use fork to load up spoon not eat with. Rarely see a knife at Thai table setting-- cutting done in kitchen like Chinese.

Despite the above report, I understand that the no hands restaurants are quite expensive. Also, if you pick a girl in lingerie, do you still need to sit with the general population while dining?

My experience had me 2,000baht lighter just for the food and drinks and afterwards had to do a mercy fuck on the girl that was with me and since none of my friends took theirs, more girls wanted to join me for a group session. It something to be done once and now has been copied over by Sukhumvit soi 4 no hands restaurant which is more like a no nonsense skip the restaurant and head for the shortime room!

unfortunately I believe Priviledge on Sukhumvit is no longer. The bar was being renovated as i went past today. Not sure what it is being turned into.

It's being turned into something that Soi Nana area has precious little of at this point.
A BAR !!!
What great business acumen this guy has. It's still owned by Boss Hog . The dude who owns Big Dogs and half of NEP. He shut down his Priveledge restaurant-- ZERO business. New place will have pool tables and pooying on the first floor. Upstairs ??? Maybe there will be something a bit different than just the standard bar beer. One can only hope.
