The Best Western La Corona is near the Swagman, going towards LA Cafe, Mikes GPoint, and Robinson Mall. About 1450 for a regular room. I always bring back an overnight guest, and invite her to stay for the free buffet breakfast.

I have a reservation at the La Corona in early September, and have an "date" with 2 young ladies already set up. When I stayed there before (a year ago), I only had one girl. Think having two girls will be a problem?

S-man, I couldn't imagine that being a show stopper. Would you be checking in as 3? Or as 1, by yourself? Maybe you could book a double and have 1 guest.

I took the Fly-the-Bus from A/C to the airport and it stopped at the Swagman first. The lobby was so crowded that I would have been pissed if I was a guest at the hotel! I didn't think the location was any good either!

I want to throw some cold water on the discussion of the La Corona (the Best Western). I have stayed there several times, and it just keeps getting more-and-more expensive.@The last time it was over PhP 3,000 for a "deluxe room," which was FAR from deluxe. True, it is girl-friendly, but you can do a lot better.

Scotsman, I noticed that too. So I stayed elsewhere lately. It was good for the location, and you could use your credit card without surcharge. Times change.

The Best Western La Corona has just gotten too damn greedy and hoping dumb people would pay their room rates!!!. i went in there one time and start laughing when i heard how much they want for a room. you ciertainly could do a lot better somewhere else. i just wouldn't stay there, period!!!

I stayed there the last night of my March 05 vacation. Used BestWestern mileage for a free room. They gave me the top floor suite! A couple rooms and a jacuzzi, free breakfast buffet as usual.

Any current info on the Swagman?
Will you get looks for bringing guests?
Quality of bathrooms?
What's in the vicinity? Stores? Restuarants?
Can I bring in two guests?
any other tips?
