Barons Barbershop isn't your typical "barbershop." They do have a couple of chairs, but I've never heard of anyone getting a haircut there. Instead, Barons is known for its beautiful women who give oily Thai massages.

Barons is located on Sukhumvit Road & Soi 24. If you take the skytrain, get off at the Phrom Phong station. Exit on the southside of the platform and you'll find the main entrance to Barons on Sukhumvit Road. On the outside, you'll see a barber's pole. There's a back entrance if you walk down Soi 24 and take your first left down an alley.

AS you enter through the main entrance, you'll see the barber chairs on your right. On your left, you'll find two groups of seated women. The first group (I think), give the traditional haircuts. The second group, give the massage.

On my visit on a late Sunday afternoon, the second group consisted of about 20 young women. All of them were very attractive. There's no fishbowl nor do they have numbers like at the soapy massage parlors. You can sit on a sofa about 15 feet across from them to ponder your selection and point out your selection to the hostess.

For an oily massage, it's 400 baht for one hour and 800 baht for two hours. No money is paid until after the service is performed.

After you make your selection, you're escorted upstairs to a small private room with a bed and a shower. I asked for a two-hour oily massage. I disrobed, showered, and jumped into the bed. The girl proceeded to give me an oily massage. After about an hour (I really can't tell how much time passed), she asked if I wanted the "special." I said "yes." She then proceeded to disrobe and rubbed oil over her body for a body-to-body massage. After awhile, she put a condom on me and we went from her on top to me on top until I finished. With me near exhaustion, she continued with the body massage. At the end of the two hours, we both went into the shower and she washed me from head to toe and then dried me off. I got rock hard again and wanted to do it again, but time ran out. As I exited Barons, I looked at my watch and it was 7 pm. I entered Barons at 5 pm so I wasn't cheated on the two hours! I had just arrived that afternoon so it was a fitting end to an 18-hour plane ride.

The special service cost 1,500 baht and the house fee for the two-hour oil massage was 800 baht. The total cost was comparable to what you'd expect to pay at most soapy massage parlors.

While I was at Barons, most of their clients appeared to be Japanese. This is probably why all of the women at Barons were very light skinned.

p.s. Next time, I'm going to let my hair grow long before I leave for Bangkok and visit Barons and ask for a real haircut.

One additional personal opinion: Although the cost at Barons is comparable to most soapy massage parlors (tip included), I'd recommend a soapy massage over an oily massage.

I tried Baron's this week and was very happy with the service. I read about Saeng somewhere (can't find the thread now) and was blown away. Went back for more the next day. Saeng has a great attitude, good looks, a great rack even if they may be enhanced, and is a good massuese to boot! There were a bunch of sweet young things sitting around waiting for the likes of me. The oily massage was great -- she uses her body just like a soapy. Did a nice job of washing off the oil too!

I was at Baron's twice last month, both times with a super girl, "Ya". Excellent massage, and I liked the shower in the room, plenty big enough for two. If you're into massage, I prefer Baron's to a soapy.

I agree 100% with Abuelo. I've been back a couple of more times to see Saeng. Headed back there about 2:00 PM but Saeng wouldn’t be available until 4:00. Asked for a friend and got Nui. Wow! She is a beautiful little thing and has an almost perfect figure even though it is a bit enhanced. The nice firm boobs are great for massaging. I paid the 800 Bhat for a two-hour massage. Didn’t realize just how great Nui was until saw her in the shower. Her services were just as good as her looks. I would have expected an attitude from such a looker but she was great! I also like Baron's although don't have an opinion one way or the other about whether going to a soapy or to Baron's is better value. One thing I like about Baron's is that it opens around 10 a.m. (realistically perhaps 10:30 before there are many girls available). Other than a couple of blow job bars, I'm unaware of other places in BKK open this early.

Rooms are usually very small, max. 2m x 4m. Just a bed, a shower and a small chair. Rooms are very cold too, cause air is far to big (10.000 BTU) for that small room.

Best value for money is oily with a HJ IMHO.

Entrance is the first alley to the left off Suk. Soi 24, (not Soi 23). Rooms are clean and nice -- they're small but the bed and shower are the only parts I use anyhow. Air conditioner is usually off when you arrive. Your girl has the remote and can set the temperature.

Saw Saeng for one more time before heading home. Wonderful! Took a lot of air conditioning to cool her down.

My visit to barons oil massage in bangkok has been amazing. Just got back and went here and Ploy is also a good one. Nothing has changed and the service is good but the room can get quite cramp as it is small but with the provided shower could be excellent as you get to shower with the service provider.

Been here quite a few times. I have experienced my best oil massage here. Most girls know how to do it just right. Very sensual and some girls just downright nasty.[meaning good] Saeng is a well known girl here. When you walk in you are usually assigned a girl. If you ask though you can say you want to pick and they will bring you to the 'casting' couch. Where all the girls are sitting.

Best bet is to walk in through their entrance on Sukhumvit rather than the other entrance. This way you pass the area where the girls are sitting as you enter. I never had a girl assigned to me but always picked from among those sitting in the couch area.

This place is still going strong. I had 2 visits this last trip and they had some serious hotties. They are getting too busy though. My girl told me they had 33 girls but only 21 rooms so when they get busy you either get a really crappy small room without a shower- as I did on second visit- or they even use the hotel across the street when they have to.

Even if you walk in the back entrance you can still ask to pick your own girl. Does not matter which door you walk into-- just go.

I was impressed with the talent level when I was here in September. This is one of the few places that I made multiple visits too. I like to get here late morning, when it is not too crowded. Works well with my daily schedule as well. There is a pita place across Sukhumvit and down a clock or so towards Nana that has some very good chow. I agree with previous posts, this is a great day time option. Guaranteed excellent session. You pay upfront, 400bht for 1 hour, 600 for 1.5 or 800 for 2 hours.
