I am considering making my first trip to Angeles City in December. When do things get slower in the bars around Christmas time. Is it slow all week or does it just slow down on Dec 24th and 25th? Also, is there a newbie link with information about whether I need a Visa to visit the Philippines from the US and other general information?

U.S. citizens can stay 21 days by simply filling out the questionnaire form on the airplane flying in.
Can't answer your other questions, but there will surely be plenty of girls there to have fun with the week before and after Xmas. There better be, as I am planning on being their 12/28!

Damn, we're going to have a convention....
Harry, better get your ticket yesterday already: I fly out of Detroit 12/25 and it cost me more than I'd like--about $1500. I really didn't have much of a choice when to take off the time, so I grit my teeth and took what was there, but I can't imagine that the Christmastime rates are going *down*.

I am also going around christmas 25th -29th in AC. I also found fare prices high for these days. From what i heard from a mamasan i talked to in late october some clubs combine on christmas night, more for girls being on vacations with family but the customers are also missing so the ratio should be good, just hope all the hot spinners arent gone. But the girls dont stay gone long so a few days after christmas should be business as usual.

At first I thought that maybe all the girls would be off with family. But now I'm thinking of the opposite problem: with only a few guys there, the women in AC will be like piranhas, swarming around the few pitiful males remaining. If I don't survive, mates, let it be known that I died with a smile on me face....

Yes, it will be a full-on Clubhombre convention in AC in late December. I believe Epi and I and another CH member that's doing long-term duty in Bangkok at the moment will be arriving on 12/28. Being there with a bunch of other board members in July was an absolute BLAST, and I am sure December will be just as great. There's till plenty of time for the rest of you to join us -- not like you'll have anything to do at work that time of year anyway! And what's an extra 7-800 bucks in airfare to a bunch of rich guys like YOU???

Leaving here Christmas day, getting into AC in the wee hours of the 27th. I'll be there a full day before you fellows make it into town, so I might actually be sociable and sated by then.

A friend of mine was there last year during Christmas and New Years break and he said that the selection was awful for two weeks and that they all came back in droves around January 3rd. Some bars close periodically during Christmas and New Years time as the girls are with their Pinoy boyfriends in the province and giving their "relatibs" gifts. He said one day after Christmas he was at Blue Nile and there were 8 dancers....and thats' the largest bar in AC. The pickens will be slim but it's still better than the best day in Tijuana.

Try Manila too, the girls live locally. Just go to Makati and write your cell number and room number on the back of the hotel biz card and they will roll to your hotel for 1,500 pisos and stay as long as you want and the girls are hotter

Last winter '06/'07 none of the previous hotties were there, from my most recent glorious trip! Only one made it back from the province (or more likely a trip w/ a customer) for a quickie.
But the great thing was there was a lot of new talent!
In July and then in Sept/Oct. it seemed that there must have been several complete turnovers, because there were a lot of new faces....
