Okay, I really like the shows at Polo A-Gogo in Pattaya. In particular, I like the hula/mamba routine, where the girls dress up in hula skirts and do a cute routine on the stage. It brings back fond memories of my love/hate short-time I had with one of their girls (Noy).
Why they think hula (a Hawaiian dance) and mamba (a Central American dance) are related, I dunno. But I dig the show, nevertheless.
I really like the music to that routine...but for the life of me I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE TITLE IS! Does anybody know what the title to that song is?
By the way, my favorite routine there is the one performed to Tom Jones' "Sex Bomb" song. The S&M routine performed to The Cranberries' "Zombie" is cool, too.

Guzybear,
I was in Pattaya during the Thanksgiving week and Polo was one of my favorite too. It was exactly the same show every night, repeated over and over, but it never got old.
On my last night I had planned to ask the DJ for a song list but I got too drunk and forgot about it. I'll ask the next time I'm there.

Did you barfine any of the girls? If so, did'ya get Noy? Or Gao?
In my trip report, I wrote about the both of them -- Noy, who was the drama queen (yet, whom I BF'd twice, and who still gave me the best time despite being lousy in bed). And Gao, who I REALLY wanted, but mamasan was demanding 1000 baht BF and 2000 baht for the girl.
But, yeah, I found myself spending a lot of time in Polo, just watching the shows over and over again.

Believe it or not, I didn't BF anyone out of Polo. I got my evening barhopping started at Polo every night, though.
There was this mamasan who kept trying to hook me up with not-so-hot girls ... after a while, she became really annoying. Maybe the same one that tried to rip you off.
Aside from Polo, my favorite go-go's were Classroom, Peppermint, and Living Doll Showcase.
Let me know if you ever find out the name of that song.

Classroom on Soi Pattayaland 2, across Penthouse Hotel?
Did'ya barfine any girls outta there? I did a threesome with Lin and Fon, on a couple different nights. I think Lin is a sweetheart -- we did a six-hour "short time" the first time I BF'd her. Fon, on the other hand, is a drag.
So Mamasan at Polo tried to hook you up with the not-so-hot girls? Did you notice that one of the girls looks like a guy (thicker body, masculine face)? Yet, the other dancers that I spoke with swear she is actually a female. They even say she has a good heart!

I short-time'd a girl from Classroom my first night whose name for the life of me I cannot remember now -- it wasn't something "easy" like Lin or Fon.
There were several cute spinners (yup, I like 'em spinners) there, but my girl from the first night got in the way every time I went back to the bar. I really didn't want to pull other girls out in her presence -- hey, maybe I have a good heart
or I didn't want bad karma -- so I just moved on.
There were 3 or 4 dancers at Polo that I thought were very cute. I briefly talked to one of 'em -- can't remember her name, but I think she was #98 -- but I never saw her again after the first night.

Having a "good heart" isn't necessarily a good thing. For us farangs, it just means we spend a lot of money. The girls will start clamoring all over you, because they know you'll spend a lot of money on them.
At Polo, I definitely had a "good heart." I just enjoyed myself so much there, that I kept buying drinks for up to four different girls, AND a Mamasan! I didn't mind, though...because like I said, I was having a blast. So what's 1800 bahts in drinks? Back here in Hawaii, it'll buy two ladydrinks with a stripper who may rub the inside of your thighs a couple times before moving on to the next sucker...

I personally love Polo. I think your either going to love it or hate it. The routines are so cheesy they're cute. I had one dancer who really wanted to go with me but I had other plans so never got into discussing price.

If you love it you have not been there recently.
I was there twice last week and the " shows" consisted of a group of girls in sarong type dress roaming around the stage and squatting down with their dress over a guy at side of stage -- would not allow contact and after 15 seconds would stand up and say-- "You give me tip ??" Tip for what bitch ?? I could not beleive what was happeneing so I went in a second day and the same shit was going on.You can have 100 times more fun without the tip at dives like Nui's original bar or What's Up a go-go. Lots of groping with no tip required.

I think Polo is best enjoyed by sitting AWAY from the stage and AWAY from the girls, chugging a beer while watching the shows. I actually enjoyed it the most in the company of a girl that I barfined from Classroom (she's the one that turned me on to Polo). If you're alone, perhaps sit on the stage for a closer look every now and then...but be sure to get the hell out of the way when the Hong Kong tour groups pour in (don't worry...after sipping one Heineken through a straw, they'll all leave and the club will be empty again).
Some may think the shows are cheesy...but I think its a lot better than just having a bunch of girls on the stage wiggling their butts to Cheeky Girls music, while staring mindlessly off into space and rotating to the next spot after five minutes. At least the Polo shows attempt to *entertain* the audience, rather than just showcase the girls.
Unless things have changed dramatically since I was there (about four months ago), not all the shows consist of the girls giving a private peep show (as KM described). Actually, there are shows such as the Fire-eating act, the Hawaii Mamba act, the Lesbo act, the S&M act, Sex Bomb act, etc. And between the shows, the "regular" girls come on stage and strut their stuff for a few minutes (including draping their skirts over the heads of the audience sitting next to the stage, giving them a private and close-up view of their pineapples).

The annoying thing was EVERY girl who drapes her skirt around your head asks for a tip--- unheard of in Thailand in all my years of going there. I was shocked when the first girl asked -- thought it was a joke and treated it as such when the third girl asked I responded in Thai "for what bitch ? "and was left alone after that . Left soon after so cannot comment about other shows. Asking for tips while dancing and this new ping pong ball tip business are just two examples of how these girls are getting more and more mercenary.
I don't want to sound like someone's grandfather , but the good ole days were a hell of a lot more fun and the girls a lot more into you rather than the baht !!!

Yeah, unfortunately, it sounds like the girls (Polo girls, at least) are getting too Westernized. Or, perhaps the management cut down their salary, and instructed the girls to hustle for tips instead, "like how they do in America." (For the life of me, I can't remember what their salary was. Polo girl Noy told me once).
I dread the day when they start acting like the bitch strippers we have here in Hawaii -- sit down with you, rub your thigh, ask for a $20 drink. Five minutes later, ask for a $20 drink. Five minutes later, ask for a $20 drink. Five minutes later...until you're broke (usually within a half hour).
Oh, Hawaii strippers also expect you to sit on the stage when it's their turn to dance and, of course, you have to slip a dollar bill into their garter every 30 seconds -- that'll cost at least another $20. Plus the three one-dollar bills she asked you to give her for the jukebox, to play the three songs in her set.
Then, you gotta go home and jack off, because the bitch got you all excited, but took all your pussy money yet didn't give you any play.

By the way, and back to the original request...does ANYBODY know what is the name of the song they play for the "Hawaii mamba" routine at Polo???
I need to add with Tom Jones' "Sex Bomb" in my Kazaa shared files folder titled "Sounds of Pattaya"!
