Cathay Pacific has cheap airfares from San Francisco and Los Angeles ($599 RT) and from NYC ($699) if booked by Jan 30 or until sold out, and travel is for the period between Feb. 2 and April.

IMO Cathay Pacific is one of the best in the business. When I flew with them they passed out comment cards for both the flight to BKK and the return to USA. I mailed in the one re the flight over but forgot about the return. I got a call from their office in Switzerland wanting to know if all was OK on the flight.
