One of the last bars where the girls still dance topless at NEP. A few times a night, there's an alarm (a whistle) and the girls quickly put their bras back on (they keep them on their hips/panties when dancing). When the danger (police raid?) is gone, they take their bras off again.

I always found their name to be an oxymoron . I do not think I have ever seen within their walls anything I would call a pretty lady.

Dropped in to Pretty Lady last night. This is a very historic place for me, because it was the first gogo bar I ever visited in Thailand, seven years ago when it was called Pretty Girl. The line up wasn't all that great, but I did like the no-panties outfits and the occasional flashes. And I did lock on to one girl who seemed to be a slice above the rest. Pretty Lady does have a good current lineup of dancers. As you point out, it has a loyal following, including at least one famous Bangkok based author. The male staff don't bother me and, in fact, the service there is usually excellent (minimal waiting around for your bill or your next drink). The one problem I have with this place is that I find the layout rather uncomfortable. They need a different seating arrangement as you are often crowded into a corner with tables in front of you blocking your view and/or making it difficult to leave or go to the can. But, in terms of eye-candy, you could certainly do worse than Pretty Lady.

Hollywood Rock could be the best bar in NaNa. It isn't, now, but, who knows...I'm a soi 33 guy, having said that, I rate NaNa well above Cowboy. And some of the bars you didn't care for are among the best in the Plaza. RBI, for example, employs the facially hottest girl I've ever seen in a GoGo. You just have to go there on the right night. And, on vacation, it isn't that bleeding easy...

PRETTY LADY still remains closed with no resolution in sight. The infighting between the owners is very messy and they are killing their business. The re-opened Pretty Lady seems to be doing nice trade, once again. The dancers seem energetic and flirty, as well.
