This is definitely where the top talent is, that is for sure. It is too bad that the entire scene is ruined by pushy waitresses, annoying mamasans, and an environment that is only geared towards separating you from your money as quickly as possible. It is such a stark contrast to the laid back environment of the AC bars and I assume that is why most people prefer AC.

It is so much work to go to one of these places and push off the constant and annoying, "another drink for lady, another drink for you, choose lady now” requests.

Then if the mamasan really thinks you are a sucker she will try and get you to buy drinks for the management in hopes of you thinking you will get a better deal as the night goes on. You just absolutely cannot relax and enjoy yourself in any of these places because you are constantly being nagged and annoyed the entire time.

Once you get use to saying, "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no" it is not that bad. Even when I cut off lady drinks after one, the girls sitting with me were in no hurry to leave like they do in TJ or Nogales. And I was successful in getting two phone numbers for later hookups out of these the bars.

I visited Bottoms, Bar Bandido, Cuddles, Billboard, and Foxy's last night.

Billboard was absolutely the best with the least pressure and best atmosphere. It also had FUCKING INDREDIBLE TALENT!

Cuddles and Bottoms were the worst for annoying waitresses and mamasans. Bar Bandido was fun and so was Foxy's. More to come later.

I'm going to be in Manila in a couple of weeks. What are the going rates. As this is my cherry trip, I don't want to mess things up for others by being a sucker.
