2) Planet Disco - This has been my favorite Disco since I started going to Batam. In fact I really loved staying at either of the two adjacent hotels to facilitate multiple short time sessions over the course of an evening. Bad news is that this place has totally slipped. Selection of girls has dried up, the gangster security and front door people have grown surly and belligerent (too both bules and ceweks). While the ceweks ranks have dimished, the disco is now swamped with low life small or wannabe local gangster guys. Shit these scumbags are all over the guys more than the girls. I had a local guy trying to be aggressive and get me to buy him X! What once I considered a relatively nonthreatening safe environment chuck of pretty girls who would try to woo you is now a rather threatening environment with local wannebees constantly harassing me by trying to hoist girls on you and force themselves into your drinking cirlce. The over bearing presence of the local scum makes me and the girls I know less than comfortable. I am not going to pay the big prices of a disco and be uncomfortable. BTW whiskey and coke 50K here. I will still pop my head in from time to time here and hope things improve, but it's now a distant second in preference

I went to that place 3 times in 2 trips after 4 AM and got hooked up all 3 times wihin half an hour and got more than I bargained for every time. It's funny too, because they don't have anywhere NEAR the sheer numbers of chicks available at the larger Pacific. Maybe I just got lucky, but seems to me that the place might be worth a look if you want a short time bang late at night, and you canNOT beat the convenience of taking a girl directly upstairs to your room if you're staying at Island View or Planet Holiday hotel like I was.

It IS still overrun with local scumbags, and the two girls I bagged this trip were actually pimped to me by their English speaking friends, though I'm pretty sure it was just a favor they did for their friend rather than a true pimping relationship.
