This looks like a City Garden hotel (on Makati Ave) in Makati, not to get confused with City Garden hotel (on Mabini St) in Manila. Even some of the discounted hotel websites are confused.
Cheers,

For those interested, I called the City Garden Makati hotel directly and was quoted a promo rate of P1900 (standard room) plus 10.5 % government tax. Asked for airport pickup and was quoted P600.

Stayed there for one night around a week ago. This is a very low keyed place with essentially no atmosphere at all. There is none of the traditional big city hotel foyer filled with small shops and seating areas. Even the front desk looks like it was put up over night with scotch tape. The roof has a small pool and eating area along with open views on all four sides of the monster city of Manila in all its polluted glory. Breakfast is served as a buffet on a lower floor.
My room was suppose to be a deluxe standard whatever that means. 2500 pesos except that I still don't understand exactly what I was charged nor what I got. Beeline charged me in advance and then the hotel refunded me a bunch of money when I left. Go figure. And my credit card statement doesn't compute either. I think I ended up paying for a cheaper room and that must have been where I was put. It was barely large enough for the bed. EVERYTHING, except the towels and soap, costs extra so don't touch anything. The lights and ac will not work without inserting your card key into a slot. It took me a good ten minutes of pissed off searching before I figured it all out. Of course, being Mr. Cheapo I turned the bellman down to save a $ and had to figure out the room by myself. I deserved it. The street noise level is low but audible.
The immediate area may be the financial center of the city but it is still borderline dump. Within two blocks are a Dominos, A&W, MacD, 7-11, and several other known chains. I ate across the street at a Japanese place with a huge menu of mostly noodle soup combos. It was good although I haven't a clue as to what I got. There are also several pharmacies within the immediate area but neither would sell me some things I was able to buy in AC with no issues. A convinience store is directly across the street. Taxis are instantly available in front of the hotel. Leave time at cheakout for them to inspect your room to see if you ate any of the chips or used the condoms in the bathroom.
