Hi Guys,
I'm taking a white male friend with me to Bangkok for the first time. We plan on visiting most of the MP discussed in this club, but is there any information (list) of club/MP that do not allow white male to come in? Any help would be greatly appreciate, I don't want my friend be embarraced when they stop him at the door. We particularly like to visite the Poseidon. Thanks!

You've got a pretty busy trip coming up if you plan on hitting most of the soapies listed here. Any of the MPs talked about on this site are farang friendly although a few of the high end clubs on Ratchada and New Petchburi Rd do charge a farang surcharge of 500-1000 baht. I do not think you would be able to locate a Thai only club on your own-- unless you're Thai, which your handle does not suggest.


BTW There is no need for anyone to EVER be embarrased in Thailand . If you get turned away from one place-- mai bpen rai-- there's about a hundred more just as good.

I only have run across one MP in Bangkok that does not allow white males, although there may be more. Off the top of my head I can't remember its name, but it is on the same street as Zodiac, Bangkok Cozy, and Cupidity. It is on the same side of the street as Zodiac and between it and Bangkok Cozy on that street. A fairly upscale place but at least when I showed up at the door it was for Thai only. This sort of thing can change though, so I don't know whether this still applies. In any event, the real issue is not being refused entry, but rather getting hit with the farang surcharge. This happens at perhaps one-third of the places, particularly those in the same area as the MP Mirage (again, I can't off the top of my head give the name of the area Mirage is in, although this shouldn't be too difficult to find out).
