Been catching crap from friends that say I'm not letting everyone in on my little "secrets" about this town. Well, here's one now...

This place has GOOD food and a GREAT band!! Place gets swinging around 10pm or so with a mostly Thai crowd. There have been nights where I've been in here with a group of girls and been the ONLY FARANG IN THE PLACE!! Still, no one really cares or gives a shit. Guarded moto parking in their lot.

I've been to this place at least 10 times - each time trying different food. I gotta say the food is real good and reasonably priced. Also, bottles of whiskey are available for decent prices.

For a long time the band played a mixed bag - about 1/2 western music and 1/2 thai. I went last week and the band played NOTHING but Thai music and so I was bored outta my skull (the 5 girls with me didn't mind). Went again last night and they were back to singing some songs in English again. My FAVORITE game here is to guess how many of the words the singer will get wrong before they even start mangling it. Great fun for the whole family.

I do have one VERY interesting memory from a few months ago - "I shot the sheriff" in Thai - unforgettable...
