While on the subject of Phuket, it would not be complete without a short take on Katoeys.

There are many that throng some of the beerbars at Soi Bangla at Patong Beach in the evening and some people do love them because they are supposed to give the best BJs this side of the world. All sorts of shapes and sizes and some so pettite and cute you would never know until .....

Personally, its not my cup of tea and I have never ventured although I have been know to try almost anything at least once!

However, I had to do a photoshoot for a magazine some years ago and did not have a contact to get some local models.

The next best thing I did was to ask the owner of the Simon Cabaret Transvestite show in Patong and he loaned me two of his ladyboys to model for me.

I took them with me to a friend's hotel in Phi Phi island for a night and some of the old photos are posted here just for fun. One of them was the top star of the show at that time.

Man, did I get people staring at us wherever we went.

Wow, gorgeous and extremely passable. My impression is that Patong, relative to Pattaya, had a better ratio of pretty "ladies" versus hansum "men" in the Katoey bars and out and about. But then again maybe is was that the real female talent was so much better in Pattaya that the LB's in Patong looked so good?
