The following Panorama was submitted by PhoenixGuy.
He included the following comments.
Things of note in the picture:
- skytrain to far left (Nana station is around the corner and down the street a ways, within easy walking distance)
- the road in front of you is Soi 4 (aka Soi Nana), Sukhomvit is the road to the far left running perpendicular to Soi 4
- Big Dogs, very popular beer bar, to left of NEP entrance
- entrance to Nana Entertainment Plaza
- tuk tuk in front of currency exchange (for those who have always wondered what the hell is a tuk tuk <g>)
- Dynasty Inn down the street to the right (you can see the sign)
- Omni Tower is the "angled-looking" tall white building at the far end of the street to the right
- another very popular beer bar to the far right
- sign for Nana Hotel in far right of pic (everyone's favorite after-hours pickup spot)
Hope you like it,
Phoenixguy

Nice pic, brings back a lot of happy "I'm on VACATION" memories from past trips. Personally, I prefer the view on a sunny late afternoon, though.
>>>I prefer the view on a sunny late afternoon, though.
Yeah, I'd actually snapped pics for a composite at just that time of day. Then my SD card went south on me, eating all the pics I'd taken until then. Of course what this pic doesn't show is the night scene, when there's about 50x more people out and about.
I wanted to post this one to show people who've never been the relative locations and closeness of NEP, the skytrain, Dynasty Inn, Nana Hotel and Omni Tower. Before going, I found that looking at maps just didn't give me any real feel for how far things were from each other.
I wonder if that Tuk Tuk actually runs. I cannot remember ever going to Nana day or night without that same low life driver sitting there with his tuk tuk. " Massage boss ? Where you go ? You want young girl? " He speaks great English. I'll bet he gives a great tour of BKK. :-)

Thanks for the Mind bending panorama and for the hi rez copy. It was fun to zoom in on different parts of the photo. Nana is a magical place as night settles in. A blast from the past of the now closed Titty Twister at night.

very nice-- both of u!
