This place had the most amenities of any of the hotels I saw in Pattaya in its' price range (<1200 baht), and appeared to be pretty new. The rooms had a microwave and in-room safe in addition to the standard stuff that almost all the Pattaya hotels have. The pool area looked nice, and if I remember correctly, rooms on the side that overlooked the pool were slightly more expensive than rooms on the other side.
Location is fine, on Soi 4 across from the hospital, between Second Road and Beach Road for easy baht bus access. Availability at this place is apparently tough to come by.
email address on my card I took in July is bella@loxinfo.co.th, phone # (038)415660-5, 415-667-9
I think the price was 1090 baht during low season last summer.

They have rooms as low as 950B/night in low season. The hotel is new. Their wireless internet sucked ass when I used it last year. I've not checked to see if things have stabilized.
Right now all the cheap rooms face the construction next door. They are working on that hotel 16 hours a day. This makes for an early morning wakeup, intentional or not. Also, for some reason, the girls don't like fucking in the pool when 300 horny Thai guys are watching from next door. Imagine that.
Hey KM - I fucked Nam from Viking Bar in this pool (BEFORE she fell off the moto). Good times...

She likely fucks just as good now that she is healed up from her accident. Just a few scars and road burns to ignore. 99 % of the BGs have em from the motosais .
BTW --I fuck just as well after laying down MY bike !!

Big thumbs up-- great hotel. Worth every penny, great service, wireless free in room, decent decor, comfy bed. At a great price point as well (on par with Dynasty deluxe).

DM, thanks for the confirmation on the quality of this place. I booked a few weeks ago, but looking at the map location I was starting to get buyer's remorse...

Have no idea what you're thinking, but location is fantastic: Spitting distance of both Soi 6 and Second road soapies, 1 minute by baht bus to Soi 7/8 beer bars, 2 minutes to Walking St.

Actually, after 9 or so, the traffic can get so congested as you get close to Walking Street that it's better to hop off and walk from a bunch of blocks away.
But the location IS great, I've stayed there both times I was in Pattaya.

David7...Location is a short baht bus ride to walking street. If you walk, you could work up a little sweat.

David, the hotel is one of the best values in Pattaya! Superb.
It is very close to soi2/3/soapies/beerbars.
Only an fool walks from soi 2 to WS at night voluntarily-- take a baht bus for 10b (~.25 cents)-- that is a non factor. On your second trip rent a small motor and live it up.

I agree Don Marco...baht busses are so cheap, why take to long walk.

Great hotel, staff, and location!

There's not a lot to see along the long way to Soi 8 or 10 or 12--definitely take the baht bus (10 baht).
My favorite route is to walk up to Second Road, over to Soi 6, and down Soi 6 to Beach Road (which may take a couple of hours--don't miss it!), then catch a baht bus--perhaps all the way to WS (or wherever it gets stuck in traffic, at which point it's faster to hop out and walk).
Or, if the girls of Soi 6 haven't drained me of energy as well as juice, I may get off the bus around Soi 8 - 12, and walk to WS from there--checking out the freelancers along the beach side (500 baht short time) and looking in the beer bars along the other side.

I stayed at the standard studio last time and it was a nice and basic room.
The cost to upgrade to a luxury studio or a 1 bedroom at the Bella Villa Prima isn't that much.
For the fellow hombres who have stayed here, what do the more expensive rooms have to offer over the standard studio?

i stayed here from late sept to late oct. monthly rate of 27,000B or so. can't remember exactly but close enough. then returned for two weeks in nov at 1,500B per night (high season rate started nov 1).
the following all sounded nice at first booking:
breakfast buffet included
in room wireless internet
UBC satellite TV (not cable)
fitness center
swimming pool
friendly staff (as reported here and other sites)
upon arrival i would say the breakfast buffet was poor, in room wireless internet was spotty, UBC satellite had few channels compared to other hotels with UBC, fitness center was adequate, pool was adequate, and staff was very, very friendly.
i was satisfied enough with my first stay and returned again. that is because the IT guy set my room up with an ethernet hook up, i don't make it to breakfast too often so the poor quality didn't matter too much, didn't need to watch much TV, and was okay with the limited fitness center.
on my second stay, IT guy wouldn't set me up with ethernet cable, made some excuse. cable was sitting right there next to the bed and needed the plug put on the end (just like the room i had before and he handled it). so i had to go to the lobby where the wireless was better. i think the wireless is better in the middle rooms, not those on each end (i was in 501 and 601 that are adjacent to sunshine vista on soi 3 but overlook the pool, not the sunshine). staff explained that they'd like to offer me a room with better wireless but hotel was fully booked.
they also have an internet room in the lobby at 60B/hr that works well (the 60B gives you one hour over a 24 hr period from first log in).
i also stayed at residence garden, whitehouse condotel, and sawasdee sea view. i'm going back to pattaya in late january and will probably try BJ Holiday Lodge at 26,000B per month.
i'm not knocking bella villa but probably a little less than advertised. just be prepared. i may stay there again at some point but will try a few other places first.
one thing to note, there is a big hole being dug across the street (soi 4) and down towards beach rd just a bit. when they go vertical with the structure, construction noise could be a problem. i'll take a look at that when i go back in jan and report back.
lastly, if you need to sleep during the day, may want to avoid rooms on floor 2 that face the pool. they have a water fountain that is pretty noisy. they turn it off at night so not a problem then.
