Got a great fare at the last minute from Florida leaving Christmas morning and returning New Years Day!

Landed in Bangkok around midnight December 26 and first heard of the news of the tsunami....that is a whole different story as I had plans to visit Phuket that week!

All I can say is that the women in Bangkok are more than worth the 20+ hour flight.

I also flew American and used NRT as a hub. I was comped upgrades on both the departing and returning segements between JFK and NRT. The only shitty seats were the JAL segements from NRT-BKK. next time, I'm sticking with UAL.

Beechman, thanks for nicely encapsulating what we Asia Mongers have been saying all this time. It' not a matter of which destination is better, but every monger should at least visit once to get an appreciation for how truly huge in scale and variety the p4p scene is in SEA and LOS. I've found nothing comparable.

I've often done 4-5 day trips, it's a crazy and tiring schedule but, as they say among fisherman...I'd rather have one bad day of fishing than a month of good days working. I would never bypass such an opportunity.

I live in in East Central Florida and it is a 3 hr drive to Miami and a 3 hr flight to Costa Rica or an hr drive to Orlando and a 3 1/2 flight to Costa Rica. Some beautiful women there ....but usaully the attitude is robotic and not much GFE. Sometimes you can find a sweetheart ...but rare....

Beachman....If you like Bangkok, you must go to Pattaya at least once! I was a diehard Bangkok fan...that is, until I was introduced to Pattaya! (Two hour drive from Bangkok!).....Nothing in this world can prepare you for your first trip to Pattaya!

Pattaya is on the agenda next trip which will hopefully be at the end of March for two weeks.

I am sure I will enjoy it! There are things I liked about Bangkok besides just the sex! When I went to salon and got the works with the pedicure, manicure, foot massage and facial I was eyeballing one of the hot hair stylist who was cutting hair and decided she was the one who was going to cut my hair.

She was about 5 foot tall and weighed about 90 lbs. and so hot she look like she walked out of a fashion magazine.

She spoke good English and I asked her what were the great spots she enjoyed in Bangkok and was there anyplace she hadn't seen in Bangkok that she hadn't seen. She said not in Bangkok...but that she had always wanted to see the Sunflower fields which are about 2 hours away from Bangkok and they were in season.

I ended asking her out for a date to go see tham and two mornings later on her day off she meet me at my hotel at 6:00 in the morning and I hired a taxi for the day for 2500 baht. We saw the Sunflower fields which were awesome and went to a Winery named Phayayen which was near some mountains and a saltwater lagoon which we also visited.

We headed back to Bangkok.... took a nap in my room..... she went back to her Apt. to change clothes into an awesome dress and we went to an awesome Chinese resraurant on the 10th floor in some building and went down afterwards to the lounge which was first class and had cozy sofas you could cuddle up in while you listen and do a little slow dancing to a mellow band playing soft pop American music and they had 3 different women sing.....just a great romantic change of pace....and then of course we headed back to my room afterwards.

Pattaya is definitely on the list next trip.....but I do enjoy exploring the big city and there are some awesome, classy lounges , bars and clubs that are more quiet and slow pace and maybe some jazz clubs.

I will tell you Thai women ...like Latin women love romantic music and my room had a CD stero in it and I brought music with me. I am a pretty good dancer....took Ballroom and Latin dance lessons and can lead most women and almost all of them love dancing in the privacy of my room. It is great way to break the ice and relax both of you and get to know each other a little more intimately before you get to the main action !

May not work for everyone but it works for me and the girls just seem to be much more relax!
