I made this trip last year. Allen is the capital of Northern Samar and has several resorts to choose from. Rates are average about P600 per night with aircon. Hot water is rare. I spent almost all my time in the very small barangy, but downtown had little to offer. I doubt if any bars and if so, would be small KTVs.

The beaches here are the second best I've seen. Puerto Galera being my favorite. Huge spans of white sand and clean water are the norm. My girl Nhel's house is about a hundred yards from a nice beach. Has a few sari sari stores there so cold beer is no problem. I only spent a few days here so not a lot else to report. Lot of beautiful girls, but daddy has a machete!
