Don't ask me where it is because I don't know. That address above is all I have. This place has made the list of places I am going to check out once I get to Bangkok in September. Details are still sketchy. Guess it just opened, is run by a guy named Ricky who use to run bars in CEP and NEP, has five levels, and is purported to be Eden Club the next generation.

Heard something about "theme" floors? I am not sure. Again. Expect a full report in mid to late September. That is, unless, someone wants to beat me to it!

I have heard about this new club but do not know anyone who has been there. I look forward to ur review as I will be in LOS in November. I heard the club has 5 floors with the level of debauchery going up as u go up. The 5th floor is rumored to try to compete with Eden Club. Oh how I pray it does. I am begging Buddha nightly to find a comparable bar to Eden. Perhaps with even better looking bpoo yiing !!! Anyone out there been to Number One Club yet ????

There is only one sentence I can think of that would describe my visit to Number One Gentlemen's Club yesterday: "Rome wasn't built in a day."

This place has a ways to go.

I stopped by in the daytime to do a little reconnoitering. I am glad I did. I had the cabbie drop me off on the corner of Sukhumvit and Soi 1 and decided to just walk up the street. I walked all the up and right past it. If you walk up on the left side of the street you probably won’t miss it as the sign is above the entrance. But if you walk up on the right side of the street you will miss as you will never see the sign because you will walk under it.

If you get to this street sign, you have gone too far. Just turn around and it is almost right behind you. It is the right hand side of the road heading up from Sukhumvit.



I went around 5pm and the place as closed as it did not open until 6. So I returned later in the evening around 8 or 9.

Upon entering I was greeted by an Englishmen. I asked if he was Ricky and was informed that Ricky had left the partnership and was no longer associated with the place. The gentlemen’s name I met was Les. He was friendly and I sat down and ordered a Carlsberg.

The downstairs area had a bar on the right and several nice sofas in an area to the left. I think there may have been a pool table but I can’t recall now. The downstairs was a little more spacious than the Eden Club.

I chatted with Les a bit and asked what the deal with this club was. He mentioned they have several floors with different activities or themes on each floor. It was basically just a club where you could relax and have a good time and then take a girl.

I should mention that upon entering I noticed a farang on one of the sofas sucking on the nipples of the one of the girls there.

There were about 6 or 7 punters there and just as many girls. Les actually apologized to me as he said that he usually has a few more girls but several did not show up tonight. I asked how many total he had and he said 10-12 now but he wanted to increase that in about a week.

What was funny was that Les was a telecom engineer from England. I asked if he had even managed a Go-Go bar or anything like that before and he said no. He said he was just drafted in to do this and today was his first day on the job.

I inquired about the price was a told it was 2000 baht for short time, an hour and half.

I liked Les as he was a friendly guy, but this place has a long ways to go. It is an interesting concept and idea, but they need more girls and better looking ones at that. There is no way in hell I would pay 2000 baht for any of the girls I saw there last night.

A girl did come over and talk to me a bit. She was nice and friendly and offered to give me a massage. I didn’t want to stay as I didn’t see anyone I like so I declined.

Les also mentioned they opened too early. Some of the upstairs areas were not completed until just a few days ago.

If the place is still there the next time I am in Bangkok I may stop by to check it out one more time. But again, they need more girls and better looking ones.

If anyone else makes it there in a couple of months I would be interested to hear about your experiences there.
