hola hombres!
not very happy at the moment.. i was looking forward to this trip for some time now and have landed minus my bag it has been 3 days since i got here from BKK on phuket air, and all i get from them is "sorry we looking for you bag"
what really pisses me off is that i have always known that regional airlines are not good with bag, so i put all i needed in a carry on.. however at the door they said "too big... no problem we put inside" and yes i am extremely pissed off because everything was in the Fing bag, my old digital (an oldie but an expensive goodie canon IXUS 5mb - now i have an excuse to actually buy one once i sort out the insurance) my passport, the lot. off to BKK now to get new pass port and sort things out .. as for phuket well the airport is not so bad, it has a couple of police stations a burger king, bunch of airline offices and whole mob of busybodies loitering about trying to "HELP" ok glad i wasnt stupid enough to put my wallet in the bag too! oh well the adventure begins.... having said all that i have been in and out EURO BAR i thinki its in soi eric, great place so have been getting trashed for the past few nights and working my nuts out to release the frustration.. sorry i cant include anyphotos.. GRrrrrrrrrrrr

In the end this is background noise, albeit irritating noise. Revel in delight once u get back to BKK in the hordes of pooying hovering about.

Phuket Air has an absolutely terrible reputation. It's a new airline and in fact was shut down by the Thai govt for some time because of safety and maintainance concerns. That;s saying a lot whern the Thai govt acts on a safety issue. Gotta be a pretty bad problem, and not necessarily fixed - just a few baht changes hands and -- Presto ! -- What problem was that again ??

Too late for you , but I would advise all to avoid this airline if at all possible. Plenty of better alternative airlines to Phuket.
