Hi - can someone recommend a girl friendly hotel in phuket, that has some luxury to it. Flying out in 9 hours. But want to stay in a place that has a nice beach and 4/5 star accomodations. Any help is much appreciated. Does the chedi or meridien allow?

Hmm, a bit late. A pity he didn't post earlier. Well, for what it's worth, the Meridien is probably once of the nicest hotels ('though I haven't seen the Marriott resort). As far as being girl friendly, I suspect it's a question of style. If you drag home some young thing pouring out of a tube top and tottering around on five inch platform shoes and singing at the top of her lungs, you damn well should be kicked out. However, if you're discrete and tasteful, you will have no problems at all.

Does anyone know if Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort is girl-friendly? My wife and I are staying in Phuket and we want to stay upscale but still be able to bring girls back to our room? Anyone have any info on what the hotel's policy is on bringing girls back?

I wouldn't be shy about calling them to ask what their Guest policy is.
