This is a great place. I poked my head in the door and was surprised. 2 chicks sat down next to me and surprisingly enuff they were pretty hot. After watching the live sex show (2 girls) I got short time room for 300 bt and 1,500 per girl. I was quoted 500.00 bar fine per girl but bargained my way out since I was taking 2 girls.

I have pulled some great girls out of there, lots of fun. Windmill is kind of a hidden gem, not as many people are aware.

A couple of other places to check out;

Secrets (the guys that run it used to run the FLB), it is brand new. Ask for Ben or Martin, great guys running a quality operation.

The "Baby" Chain, super baby, etc. there are always a few hotties there

Lennies (just down from the windmill) is a good place to start for drinks and then hit the windmill. The owner Manfred, a true host, especially if there are any sports you want to watch (same w/Ben and Martin at Secrets)

And if you want to hit the beer bars, go to Soi8 and stop at Cherries, ask for Adam, he is the owner, takes solid care of his customers, he usually has a couple of hotties.

I could never forget either Living Dolls 1 or Club Boesche, or Catz.

SECRETS (Soi 14) the latest late nightspot - they serve good food, basic "Pub Grub" meals.

FLB (Freelancer Bar - Walking Street) is now ran by LOS legend "Tricky Ricky" a personal friend of about eight years. Ricky is a gold mine of information on the nightlife scene in Thailand.

I know Adam from CHERRY BAR - he is a`decent English owner who's running a good little place.

LIVING DOLLS ONE - is not as hot as LD Showcase by a long, long way. Owned by Aussie Shane.

LIVING DOLLS SHOWCASE - owned by the friendly Englishman Ken, is the far superior of the two Living Dolls Bars.

CLUB BOESCHE lost some girls to the newly Thai owned SILVER STAR but they have drifted back to BOESCHE. Good news for BOESCHE fans like Manos!!!

Yeah, too my eye Boesche went downhill rather rapidly. As did Coyotees. When Coyotees opened I thought it was number one with a bullet. Then most of the hot women mysteriously disappeared. The same thing happened with Club Boesche, though not quite to the same extreme degree. Over my last three visits, I'd rank Heaven Above as the number one gogo in Pattaya. But, as you know, things change really rapidly in Pattaya. I'll have to give Boesche another chance the next time I'm in town.

Hi Manos, I am pleased that you agree with me that you really have to have your finger on the pulse regarding Pattaya. No good being in the USA for ages and then thinking the scene will be a matter of deja vu. It's a case of "real time reporting". You can make or break a bar overnight in Pattaya, because it is so much more volatile compared to a relatively consistent BKK bar scene. The bar biz in Pattaya is a dog-eat-dog, cutthroat world and therefore the scene is constantly changing. Also, the sheer fact that Pattaya nightlife has evolved at the speed of light in recent years is not always a good thing.

REAL TIME REPORTING - reports just in are that Angelwitch (Soi 15) has been packed the last two nights (SUN 5 & MON 6). This means that the start of the high season has indeed arrived for the popular bars. Bargirls are reported to be migrating back to Pattaya from their home provinces ready to "battle for the bucks".

BTW Manos, Coyotees still had a great line-up of hot Showgirls when I checked it out a couple of weeks ago. Still well worth a visit. TJ is running a good Show Bar - guys please swing by and pass on my kind regards to TJ from me.

In a inconsistent world BOESCHE and HEAVEN ABOVE are two of the much more consistently hot bars for sure. You can usually cover your bets with HEAVEN ABOVE and its high level of talent. However, like Baseball you should never take your eye off the ball...

Well, you see Dave, with the right attitude that's no problem at all - when nothing strikes your fancy in the bar you just stepped into, there's another one right next door. And that just gives you an opportunity to have another brew and see some more eye candy as you seek out the evening's entertainment.

Yeah, worst case scenario, I go into a bar I don't like, drink a quick scotch and move on to greener pastures. That being said, in Pattaya there are so many gogos that it's damned near impossible to hit 'em all on a short visit. I like to make sure I'm not 10 drinks into the night before I find a bar I really like. Still, I always try to hit one or two new places when I make the trip down south, just to make sure I'm not overlooking some hidden gems.

Pattaya is reported to have 1,500 total bars now, so it would be good to narrow it down to what is hot and what is not. 1,500 potential drinks is a lot for any alcoholic LOL!

When I joined this site I looked under bar threads and there were updates that were years out of date. Unbelievable! Now there are lots of updates. So what's wrong with regular updates on a site where guys are constantly seeking information?

I don't think I said there was anything wrong with that at all? But not having current info isn't exactly a crisis either. And as you've just noted - even the best info will soon be out of date.

I personally don't chime in much, but remain a lurker in this thread. however, I enjoy the updates. Not that it makes any difference on where I go, but hearing how places are doing brings back perverted memories. Keep up the great reporting.

There are many guys seeking regular Internet information, which I may remind "modern mongers" is a great privilege us old vets never had before. I came to Thailand 18 years ago with no "Don Marco" or "Khun Mor" (to list but two) to guide me through the neon jungles of LOS. This site is a gold mine of essential information and I for one will encourage guys to post updates regularly. Because of some of the flame wars fewer people seem willing to post. My friends (around 100 from CH alone) very much enjoy reading reports and updates.

Phoenixguy, you are an experienced monger but you don't meet the hoards of newbies and lurkers that I do. I like your info, in fact what I try to do is get everybody posting more information.

I first ventured to Thailand in 1980 so I got ya beat in terms of years - not experience though as you parked your ass there. I will disagree just a bit in that I think I did just fine without the internet and actually enjoyed exploring and finding new places or just exchanging info with other guys over a beer during the daytime at the beer bars. Back then it was only Golden Bar Beer in the Nana area.Bucskin Joes was the only other beer bar area I remember back then. The others did not exist- Big Dogs Morn Night etc.

Anyway there seemed to be more camaraderie among mongers back then just because there was no internet and info was passed on person to person. You met more people and made new friends from all over the world on each trip. That spirit is presently much weaker as even newbies now feel like they are full of info or are already hooked up with guys met online.

I kinda miss the old days of exploring and adventure.

I finally got the spirit of comaraderie of which you speak after buying my bar. I'd lived in Bangkok for nine months before buying the bar and I had the phone numbers of exactly three other guys. Since buying the bar, I've met a ton of friends, I actually now have more numbers of men than women (yeah, I see how that could be construed as a bad thing). Still, alot of what you say is true. The best most up to date info you get is when hanging out with other guys, face to face. I'm happy to say that I now have more than a few guys living here that I'm happy to count as close personal friends. It wasn't so damned easy before I bought the bar, though.

What is very convenient for your modern monger is that he can get vital information from a board like this with very little time or money. For example, look at all the mongers who request info on various subjects like airline deals to the best Hotel to stay in for their price range. All of this is available online and a guy can really plan his trip thoroughly. You can land in LOS with a ton of information that you have conveniently acquired before hand.

By just going online you can easily discover scams and dangers, and get essential information for your mongering venture. This is the great thing about the Internet. All I'm saying is that a newbie can save himself valuable time, effort, cash and avoid potential headaches. May the Lord bless Sir Bill Gates!
