Hey guys,

Next year will be my first trip to Thailand anyway i have read allot of the trip reports but there are allot of things that i still dont understand. I was wondering if there was a report or guide that explained everything from what is a lady drink to soappy when it comes to thailand and asian mongering to even what the seats are like on the different airlines that specialize in travel to thailand.

Any help would be apreciated.

I would recommend you read Blazer's guides. Anything above and beyond that is just plain worrying too much. It is not that difficult in Thailand - It's all right there and pretty much self- explanatory. I know that sounds difficult to believe- but Thailand is not the USA. There is nothing hidden or deceptive. The girls or mamasans will be happy to explain how it all works if you still have questions after you get there. I don't think you will. After you see it all you will feel foolish about even worrying about it . We were all newbies once and all did just fine on our first trip. My first trip there was no internet I had to stumble around for about 15 minutes then it was all clear.

The only part u need to figure out is the plane ticket there, choosing a decent hotel, and the taxi ride. The rest is between your the pooying and your card/ATM machine...

This few months away has really solidified my preference towards LoS. I haven't given another country a second though, but LoS... I stare down the calender daily !@ U will love it too-- GO and soon you'll have your very own thai smile.

I'd also suggest reading through the entries in the Dictionary. You'll probably find a lot of answers to your questions there.
