not a flashy place no ladies demanding drinks but the ladies are very happy to join you if you ask. This a gogo bar with no nudity but the choice of clothing was such that less would have been more. prices are standard for the area with no rip offs. well run friendly bar and the ladies like a long time where they give you all the attention you need and more. a good place to sit and watch or enjoy the company of beautiful ladies. they have party nights there but i have not been in thailand when they take place so no comment although the photos are very good.

My research says that TQ is one of the few good day time bars in Pattaya. Is this true of TQ2 ?

They had a dance contest in here last night. I'm not sure if they have this every week or month. If you are around on a Thursday I would check it out. They had girls from 5 different gogo's here last night. It was slightly tame at first but the girls got wild quickly. Talk about girls gone wild. These girls were ripping each others shirts off, going down on each other, Grabbing guys heads and thrusting their hairless snatch at them. It started off to be a wet T shirt dance contest but got down and dirty quick. Recognized a couple Coyote showgirls who are damn hot. I was sitting close to the stage and somehow was mistaken for a judge. I received special attention from some of the girls. They were trying to persuade my voting. Too bad for them I wasn't a judge. I left with a smile.
The place was packed with too many guys during the contest. Seemed a little unorganized to me but it was good fun. The dance contest started around 7pm.
The regular dancers were mostly scary. A couple cute girls out of the 10 or so dancing. The dance contest girls on the other hand were mostly hot. Good idea for this bar to throw this contest weekly. 1st place 3000baht 2nd 2000baht 3rd 1000baht

TQ2 is a refershing alternative to high-pressure bars! There are only about a dozen gilrs, but they are cute and are very friendly. NO PRESSURE to buy drinks are barfine.
The clientele is mainly retired military, with a smattering of active duty types. Me one SF guy who ran his mouth too much, if I was Abu Sayef, I'd have his whole life story.
BOTTOM LINE: Cute, friendly girls in an intimate and comfy lttle bar away from the noise and madness of Walking Street.

Tahitian queen is a nice place, its a daytime bar as well, and has lots of nice young woman.

TQ 2 is renowned as a US Military retreat. I went hear for a late drink with a couple of Cobra Gold Commanders last year. TQ 2 was always a good late night drinking venue. It could get very hectic and crowded for the rest of May during the Cobra Gold period. Just a heads up on that one!

Fire at the Tahitian queen 2
The fire started by an air conditioning compressor exploding which was attached to the above ceiling.
Miss Athirat Khunrat aged 22 the only person injured was taken to Banglamung Hospital suffering from smoke inhalation, the other girls who were going through dance routines were able to run free of the blaze.
It took fire fighters 30 mins to put out the fire and its estimated that damages run up to 500,000B.

That would be the TQ 1 on Beach Rd and Soi 12 not TQ 2 which is back on a Soi in Walking street area.
TQ 2 would have been no great loss. TQ1 will be missed.

An exploding compressor starting a fire sounds fishy to me. Seems like faulty wiring would be a far more likely scenario, based on what I have seen in Thailand.
Do bar owners in Thailand have insurance on their establishments?
