I am taking my first trip to Thailand and looking at Pattaya, however a couple of my major clients require that I be available.

So basically I have to have in room broadband internet, something that would allow me to hook up my Vonage as work as well would be ideal, so wireless is my second choice, as the corporate VPN does not often work well on wireless with low connection speeds/strength.

It needs to be fairly fast and fairly reliable too, so the internet cafe is not going to cut it for regular use.

I am not concerned if it costs more, but I am not looking to spend a fortune either. It is of course also important the location be overnight guest / visitor friendly

Does anyone have any experience or can make any recommendations?

i'm staying at www.thevaulthotel.com and the DSL is FREE in the room and FAST. Rooms are 1100 and 1400 baht but you get a discount of 10% if you by a member card for 200 baht.

they have full laundry for 400 baht! this is great as i'm here for 10 days. Closes done daily!
