I recently spent one night at this place. I had reserved a standard room through their website http://www.hotelkimberly.com/ Room was clean and spacious. Staff are friendly. A small buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. There was no problem with traffic noise in my room. The hotel is located on Pedro Gil Street about a 3 or 4 minute walk from Robinson Mall -- you would have to keep walking past the mall to get to the Del Pilar action spots like LA Cafe and Amazonia.

The biggest problem with my room was it had two single beds instead of one double or queen. Even with the beds pushed together, this made for some awkward maneuvering during a two-girl session I had. Also, though the hotel's website says they have a gym on the premises, they do not. Staff told me there hasn't been a gym there for two years. They referred me to a gym down the street called Lobel. I found the place, but the door was locked.

Hotel kimberly is a nice place, but if I stay there again, I'll be making sure I get a room with one, large bed.
