I stayed at Sunshine Hotel on Soi 8 when in Pattaya. They offer rooms with great views of the Ocean and the girls love the view. Clean Rooms. Good size. They provide extra towels upon request. It is well worth the stay.

I stayed at the Sunshine in March '06 and loved it--paid 1050 baht. Nice pool. Stayed there again in July--oh, my God! Horrible! It was only 800/night but the pile driving from the nearby construction was awful! I was so cranky and suffered from decreased stamina--just from the lack of quality sleep! Spent the next several days trying different places, parts of Pattaya... Stay away from it, until the construction is complete.

i just stayed in September 07. The construction didn't bother me what killed me was some religious good luck ceremony to bless the construction. If you are a light slepper might not be the best place for you to stay right now.

Just came back from my stay at the Sunshine. Still a great location however if you enjoy the view of the ocean please know that the construction i wrote about earlier is now a big fucken mall that chops your ocean view in half.

Probably better than it was for the last several years with incessant construction noise during daylight hours prevented all-but-the-hardest-core vampires from sleeping?

I stayed here for 10 days in 2007. Very comfortable beds. Excellent service. Internet cafe and restaurant right outside the lobby. Would stay here again!
