Not a new bar, by any means, but there's no thread topic here, so here goes: Located on Perimeter Rd., gets a rather large crowd of ex-pats during the day, mostly the pussy-whipped married guys that get together and BS with each other and the numerous waitresses/GRO's in the place -- no dancers, barely any music.

I think it's a prick-tease joint, actually. I spent a small fortune in this place drinking with some decently attractive girls on my last day in town last trip and ended up leaving alone after my two main targets told me they didn't fuck guys they just met! Hard to get bargirls! I kind of LIKED that. Of course I DIDN'T LIKE IT when the bill for the drinks came... While their prices were about normal for Perimeter Rd. places, the girls were experts at keeping them flowing, though there was never any overt pressure to buy them anything.

Garfield's 'decor' is a collection of 'funny' bumper stickers and bookshelves filled with paperbacks in English. I LOVED the waitresses' long silky dresses after weeks of staring at uniform oversized bikinis at bars around town. The girls I talked to all spoke excellent English, and were able to carry on a far better conversation than the average bargirl that simply regurgitates the standard questions.

Garfield's is just completely unique in AC, and I'm not sure whether I'd recommend going there or not. I know I did enjoy my time there, but left feeling a little ripped off. My own damned fault, I know, but still...
