The growth of Angeles in the Fields area is really amazing. Prices are going up, new hotels are going up right and left. Just in the past year the growth has been really amazing.

Stayed here a couple weeks ago when everything else was booked up due to some big Japanese/Korean groups in town. Loved it! Very quiet, nice A/C (you can leave the aircon on while you're gone--I hate those key-controlled rooms), big beds (real--not two twins shoved together), in-room safe, close to the store downstairs, laundry around the corner, food, bars. Decent price--around $30/night. Lots of outlets for my recharge-ables. Housekeeping would even clean my sheets and towels immediately, with a little tip, even though they had just changed them a quick session earlier--heh heh! Only drawback is no internet in the room, as yet. Real nice restaurant up on the roof. I was almost always the only table and got great service and decent/ok food. Sometimes it's nice to get away from the flies, noise, dust, and people, and the roof has excellent views and a nice tasteful garden...very romantic.
