Let's see if there is enough numbers as well as what kind of ideas can be pitched in.

Preference BKK vs Pattaya.
Bar, Restaurant, Gogo, big suite(s) in some hotel?
Girl/boy ratio.
Group action or just attend and leave w your honey.
$$ willing to spend
Munchies, drinks.
Max number of punters.

And anything else you may think of.
I am not volunteering to organize it (due to my limited experience) but sure could help.

HI folks.... not sure if much other interest, but I am interested in having some sort of a New Years private Party with concarne and others.

I have only been to TL once, so also don't have a lot of experience, but maybe something along the lines of:

Hiring a banquet/meeting type room in a hotel (or an extra large suite in a hotel (with pole etc?) and each hombre brings his girl or girls who he has barfined already. The girls dance, do shower shows, mock (or actual) lesbian shows and then as the night goes on, each guy just leaves with his girl/girls when he wants to. Party could get underway at say about 10:00pm and people might start to leave at roughly 2:00. If there were say 7-8 guys participating, we could have between 10-20 girls. This would be FUN - NO mamasans, no 'ladydrinks', no hassles etc.

C'mon guys... let's make it happen!!!!! Pattaya would be best place I think (as everything is cheaper there).

I would be willing to put in $ with others for room/venue hire (or it could be in someones existing hotel room (if a reasonably big room).

Initially I was thinking of renting the biggest suite at the Playboy hotel (?) and party there. Do you guys think a hall or small bar is the way to go?

I am fairly green re LOS so if anyone could advice as to some good places to recruit 2 girls for the night (who will be interactive of course) I would appreciate the input. I know Soi 6 would probably be one but I would like them to be fairly hot...

You are probably talking about the Penthouse Hotel - Playboy is a short time dump in BKK.
It is way too late to consider renting something like that on New Years - Height of high season. I would recommend against it anyway. The rooms are dark and not at all roomy enough for a crowd. Crammed with a lot of useless junk.

As for two girl duos, tour the beer bars- sois 7 and 8 as well as 2-4 area- and interview suitable candidates to see if you can find somone who fits your needs would be about the best way to go. You're less likely to find it in the go gos but that is an alternative. Harder to talk to the girls there though - sheer volume of noise issue. Classroom 2 on Soi 2 may be an exception not to the volume issue, but there are some nasty decent looking girls there.
Welcome Bar (I think that's the name, behind Welkome Inn - is that place still open ?) on Soi 3 another spot - sort of a mini Eden in Pattaya.

I'll be in Pattaya for both Christmas and New Years so I could scope the place out for hotel openings pre-New Years. Our best bet would be to get girl phone numbers pre-New Years and to make plans to take them out of the bars right when they get to work on New Years. Beer Bars around Soi 2,3,7,8 and of course 6 would be the cheapest option. Penthouse would only be an option if we could get one of the big rooms but there aren't that many and they are relatively expensive...

BB-Maybe we could scope together. I arrive on the 21st, late at night, but won't be human again till the 22nd.

I am all for a NYE party (and maybe a little Christmas fun as well).

Pattaya works for me.

It may just be easier to take over a small bar, we let the bar chicks hang if they wish (assuming they are doable) and ea guy is responsible for bringing at least 1 (pref 2 extra chicks).

You all DO know that the Asian anti-Thailand NY's bash is currently scheduled for Jakarta? While it's certainly POSSIBLE that there will be 100,000 bald-pasty-tourists-in-theULTIMATE-EPI-center-of-high-season competing to pay DOUBLE barfines for the local girls that don't have 'dates' that night in Jakarta, I'm fairly confident in predicting a much lower-key business as KICKASS USUAL event there.

But to each his own...

I agree-- one can do better than new years in bkk. Then again, one can do MUCH worse.
